So as most of you already know, UCF has had the tallest average starting lineup the past 2 years in all of the D1. That most certainly will happen this year too.
What you may not now is we play with all traditionally sized players for each of the 1-5. Well except for our 7'6 dominate center. But you get the point.
So here is the question. With everyone trying to be like SMU with their 5 wingers who are all 6'6-6'8, can a traditional lineup dominate in CBB today? Paradoxically, can being "traditional", be unique enough to create a competitive advantage on the court?
I know the AAC is the most diverse conference. So I'm curious to hear what fans from other conferences think.
