Place to put my Nonsense Thread.

I didn't think you were the biggest liberal, either. Wont agree about SF, but you are mild compared to some. Especially some of the formers.
Guarantee everyone saying sf sucks here still have never been. I know for a fact Hail hasn’t. The city is still good in my book.

Imagine not thinking it’s a problem that your car was broken into 15 times.
You know what's sad, is that guy defined a huge part of my childhood through my college years. Some of my favorite and funniest movies are what he did between 2005 or so and 2015 ish. Haven't seen anything of his since then, I don't think.

Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview. Just to name a few. All made between the end of my middle school years and end of my college ones.

It’s fine. Most Hollywood actors are libs. I don’t let it bother me. But it does make me have some extra appreciation for classics like Braveheart.

Speaking of crazy, here's an "educator" and a board member of the National Education Association advocating for murder. No biggie. I feel like I can trust and value her opinion. I mean, the lady is on Team Pfizer. She clearly has everyone's best interest in mind. She doesn't want everyone to die, only those with dissenting views. Seems like a well adjusted lady. Totally stable.

Went to stalk this Facebook page to see what this **** was all about and it no longer exists. Uh ohhhh, looks like someone is in trouble (and likely unemployed now).

Love how they backpedaled on their position on serving cops after getting decimated by online reviews. If there was no backlash, they wouldn't have offered any sort of apology.

Still hard to believe that some people willing choose to live in San Francisco. Check out this Twitter thread. Looks like lawlessness has led to quite a few businesses boarding up their stores. Charming. And yet, it has the highest real estate costs in the country.

This is gold. When cancel culture works against the libs, hahahahahahahahaha. Bet they never saw that coming!

Holy fvcking shit dude. I can’t imagine almost comparing Mel Gibson to Hitler

Me: I don’t really care about libs in Hollywood. It doesn’t ruin movies for me. But it makes me appreciate movies that don’t have liberal Hollywood fingerprints like Braveheart.

DePaul: OMG Hail embraces an anti-Semite.

😂

What a weird comment to make a fuss out of.

I liked Mel Gibson’s movies, but in real life he kinda sucks. Still a legend though. But bad example hail lol.

It doesn’t though haha.
SF can be pretty awesome. Its also home to some of the worst dirtiest places in the USA. Id choose SF over chicago and NYC any day though. )disclaimer-chicago summer downtown is awesome.

It is awesome if you have the means to live there. I thankfully make a great salary and have lived in nice parts of SF and now Chicago. Both cities are spectacular imo. I tend to like big cities over small towns though. Just my preference.

Braveheart is a movie made by a conservative with strong conservative values throughout. It’s a classic. It’s gonna be on a lot of “best conservative movies of all time” lists.

So while I don’t really mind liberal actors and just accept that most of Hollywood is liberal, I do give a little extra appreciation to conservative themes because it’s not the Hollywood norm.

Braveheart is one of the best movies ever made.

Nobody chooses to visit the shitty parts of course. Ive been to giants games, the wharf, downtown shopping and eating (badass restaurants), GGB, golfing, alcatraz (ive only visited 4-5 times so my selection is touristy). But yes, money would give you access to the parts that are so very uniquely awesome to SF.

I don’t really care one way or the other about Mel Gibson. I’m not going to pretend House of Cards isn’t good because Kevin Spacey is a kiddy diddler and I’m not going to pretend Braveheart isn’t awesome because of Mel Gibson being whatever he is.

I’ve always thought this speech by RDJ was cool, though. After this speech RDJ would go on to be arguably the most successful actor of the decade.

What's so great about it? I am listening.
The weather is better than any other state in the US. The tech industry (which I am in) is far and above any other place. The food and women are top notch. The mountains…Sierra Nevada’s (Lake Tahoe) . The beach, etc. I personally love it.

I mean it’s not even that Mel Gibson is an asshat, but Hitler tried to exterminate the Jews. We aren’t even in the same ball park.

Did you like the patriot?

I did. Braveheart is an all time classic that I’d give 9.5/10. The Patriot is a solid movie. 7/10.

It always blows my mind that The Revolution has so little done on it. We’ve had The Patriot and Turn: Washington Spies (also really good), but not much else. Not compared to World War II and Vietnam movies.

The tech industry is far and above any other place. So I left it.

Turn was good.

I was asking specifically about San Francisco. Can't claim weather on that, because the weather there sucks ass. 😆
