All we have to do to get back to normal is to quit talking about the ish 24/7. People get sick people die. It happens. If u want the vax get it of u dont then dont. But if vaccinated people can get/spread/and the virus can mutate within them, im not seeing a real big diff between vaccinated and unvaccinated. They made a covid flu shot, not a vaccine to eradicate the virus. So i dont see what good it does to shame ppl who dont want to be vaccinated, its def not gonna change their mind.Vaccines reduce the amount of transmission but don't completely prevent it. Its a community based issue - as a vaccinated person I can still pass along the virus to an unvaccinated individual who can pass it along to another unvaccinated person who lives with immunocompromised parents or a significant other. That individual can get sick, become hospitalized and die.
The end game is to prevent as many fatal health outcomes as possible. I could care less if there's thousands of cases a day as long as people aren't developing serious symptoms and going to the hospital.
I refuse to wear a mask anymore unless my Uber/Lyft ride or a business I go to requires it because I've done my part during this pandemic and am no longer going to worry endlessly about those who choose to accept the risks of COVID.
It is disheartening that such a large portion of this country remains unvaccinated though. We"ll never get back to normal if this continues.
I think its ok for people to care about others. I don't want ignorant people to die.
That scientist changed my mind again in a 6 min video, saying indivuduals who have recovered from covid get absolutely no benefit from the virus.
