I was a semi regular in that thread. Was great for a couple of reasons. 1. It was entertaining for good or bad. 2. It had great real news content. It was terrible for a couple of reasons. 1. It was sad to see how many people actually bought into the q anon nonsense. 2. It had terrible fake news content. It was a pretty good mixture of reasonable conservatives and far out whack jobs. Tanzania stopped reporting coronavirus cases and deaths between May 2020 and March 2021 (at least). It looks like they only recently, as of the last few weeks or months, started reporting some numbers again. And no, I’m not just going by the graph showing zeroes and assuming they weren’t reporting. They in fact were not reporting Covid cases or deaths.
That's what we should start doing. But we're addicted to fear porn here and we love to use it as a political tool.
