I am really having a hard time getting motivated to work today. Coming off a long weekend where I basically had no down time, I have 9 days off in a row starting on Saturday, and my boss isn't in the office today.
Does anyone else ever think to themselves, sometimes it just sucks to basically work your life away until you're 70. And at that point what is the quality of life?

I don't doubt the stupidity of our country anymore, so I will just say I hope you're wrong.
The bidet is a severely underrated invention. Up there with sliced bread, imo.
I retired middle management Ford at 55. Sold my real estate business at 60, after two years Illinois Central College computer programing, then bought 174 acres of farm land in the mountains of TN. Fenced it all myself, established herd of 80 registered Black Angus. Got Retail license to sell meat to the public. FINALLY at 75, while breaking ice on a pond with an axe told myself I was too damn old to be doing this shit!! SOLD all, moved to Philippines. IF I showed you video of 4 bedroom house I rent for $700 a month you would cry!!!! Cook prepares 3 meals a day 7 days a week for room and board. House manager/maid, gets $120 a month plus room and board. Liker living in a 5 star hotel and I am the only guest!!! LOL
After cancer surgery in 2005 and open heart surgery in 2018 (bovine valve replacement), my quality of life is pretty damn good!!!!

On THAT we agree. Had bidet hoses installed in all 6 bathrooms. Who the heck buys toilet paper. You work, spend money for the paper, wipe your ass then flush down the toilet! INSANE!

For sure. Rented a big RV and headed out to our family sandpit in western KS. Camping, grilling, fireworks, wakeboarding, fishing, big group pot luck dinners...Its def my favorite holiday.
Sounds awesome, it truly is a great holiday. I’m jelly of the wakeboarding and fishing. I haven’t done either in a few years.
I saw some crazy stuff when I lived in the city. I fortunately never saw that.
As tempting as it is to ride the Walmart carts, I know I shouldn't do to videos like this.
