Oh, look. 7 of the top 8 media outlets have a huge liberal bias. Shocking. Truly shocking. And ABC, NBC, and CBS are anything but neutral reporters on political affairs.

FTR, there are twice as many employees at Fox News than at MSNBC. Hard to pinpoint CNN exactly since they have operations in various places around the globe.

ABC, NBC, and CBS consistently grade as having very slight Liberal bias in their news programs. There’s no real world scenarios where you could reasonably expect exactly 50/50 coverage. They’re about as close to the middle as one could expect. The bias isn’t significant enough to sway opinion. It’s disingenuous to count them as ‘Liberal.’ It’s downright wrong to say they have a huge Liberal bias in their news coverage.

NPR is not Liberal.

Trump was impeached twice. You anticipate that coverage for a President impeached twice would be mostly positive? It should be 50/50? How would 50/50 positive coverage be unbiased for a President that Congress, independent of news coverage, decided to impeach twice?

Should Mussolini have gotten 50/50 positive and negative coverage?

God damn it, I'll fire it back up this weekend. Game was such a disappointment to me, maybe it will be better the second time round.
Below the xbox is a reciever. I keep it on the pc, and turn music off on xbox, turn on the speaker for the tv. so I can listen to both.

Watching movies, I turn off the tv speaker, and switch everything over to the dolby atmos.

Why are your analogies so terrible?

NPR is not Liberal

I am not going to say that it is "liberal", but a lot of what they talked about somehow turned into a race, climate change, etc... It also may just be the station here that is ran by EKU. Didn't matter the topic. Covid, gas prices, medical bills would all bring up race. Granted, this was also surrounded by almost 24/7 George Floyd coverage. Either the trials, investigations, peaceful protests, etc...

Just turned on local NPR. Talking about a play in Harlan County Ky. Play called "shift change". Its about racism, climate change, covid, George Floyd, and of course Hank. Hank is the neighbor of the main character. She is an oppressed black woman. He is a white dude who traveled to the capitol for the insurrection. She tells Hank "there is good in everybody". The white members of the cast had trouble with that scene, saying she should have confronted him and handled it differently. However, she doesn't do that because this scene highlights the fact so many black people are scared to confront the white devil.

*I added the white devil part. The rest was actually in the story.

For whatever it’s worth, Allsides (which has a transparent methodology for assessing political leanings) rates NPR as Center. It breaks out NPR’s news articles from its opinion pieces. NPR’s opinion pieces are Left of Center.

Reactions: I am stupid
I went out earlier to the back of the lot to get a car and get it cleaned up for delivery.

I didn't recognize the van farther back so I thought "must be a customer". Walked up from behind on the passenger side and pretty sure dude was getting head in the passenger seat. I guess they were trying to find a place to do it, anyways, I backed off b/c I didn't want to cockblock.

I don't know if dude finished or they saw me, but by the time I got the car to detail and back in the office, I brought it up to a coworker, and of course that horny f'er wanted to see, but they were gone.

What if he finished BECAUSE he saw you?

With all due respect, fvck the rebels who tried to abort America.

Does removing Confederate statues actually do anything? No. But why not remove them? Their POS role in history won’t be forgotten.
I couldn't give two shits about the confederates. Oddly it is democrats removing statutes of democrats. I know, I know.. pArTy fLiP...

The point is, it does nothing to improve anything to remove statutes of democrats that represented the US, regardless of whether you care about them or not. I am actually okay with the do nothing democrats doing nothing. We have a long way to go, but if they keep focusing on stupid unimportant things, we may be able to run the clock out for the next 17 months.

I doubt this is taking much/any time away from important issues.

And while those rebs might’ve been Dems at the time, they were certainly Conservatives. Not to play the blame game, but one is a name and the other is an ideology.

How did it turn out. Also what was your reaction when you made it home that night.

The 8th grade one gave me a little bit of a high. Kinda felt like the man.

I passed out pretty much as soon as I got home after the ‘fight’ with with bouncer. Had a bloody nose. Passed out drunk, to clarify.

You guys are great. I'm waiting for the chamomile tea to kick in.

I hate not being able to sleep. So glad I'm off tomorrow.

I took a 6 day weekend due to bday on Canada Day. I used to get hammered, but now I'm sipping tea instead of bourbon.

I still think about drinking every other day, and it's been over 14 months. Pretty sure if I kept on keeping on, I'd be dead right now.

reenactment?

Shirtless-Dude-Fighting-Bouncer-.jpg

Something like that. We were out for my friend’s 21st bday. He got thrown out of the bar for being obnoxious or something. I saw him getting thrown out and followed. When I realized what was happening, I asked if I could go in to get our friends out. Bouncers said no. I swore at them and turned around but then saw my friend go to the ground out of the corner of my eye. I assumed one of the bouncers had shoved him, so I turned towards the one in front and pushed him and took a swing. Barely connected and it didn’t do anything. He punched me in the nose and pushed me to the side where I stopped at a wall, turned with a balled up fist, then thought better of taking another swing very quickly. 3 bouncers had formed a wall and were just waiting for me to continue being dumb. Picked up my friend and got in the limo.

Short story long
