I thought Illinois wasn’t going to finish top 4 in conference even with Kofi back? How do the schedules compare for Purdue, Illinois, and Michigan? That will probably determine the winner.

Experience is more important in conference play, and I think it takes time for some of your players to figure it out. Why?
1. That wasn’t the bet. Our bet was Illinois not top 15.I thought Illinois wasn’t going to finish top 4 in conference even with Kofi back?
I know we didn’t bet it, but you posted that in this thread somewhere.1. That wasn’t the bet. Our bet was Illinois not top 15.
2. Those were the 3 teams being mentioned, so those were the teams who’s schedules I asked about. I personally think it’s a two horse race between Michigan and Purdue.
That was probably before Maryland lost their two guards, and OSU lost Washington. I still wouldn’t be shocked if Illinois ends up outside the top 3.I know we didn’t bet it, but you posted that in this thread somewhere.
Of those 3, each team plays the others home and away so no one has an edge in that
One of the Purdue posters broke down the schedules and of the top teams there wasn’t a meaningful difference between Michigan, Purdue, and Illinois. That was probably before Maryland lost their two guards, and OSU lost Washington. I still wouldn’t be shocked if Illinois ends up outside the top 3.
Games against each other are not all that matter.
Eh, MD right there with OSU- but I’m biased of course. One of the Purdue posters broke down the schedules and of the top teams there wasn’t a meaningful difference between Michigan, Purdue, and Illinois.
Ohio State had the easiest schedule of the top 4 teams
I would guess IU has one of the easiest if not the easiest in the conference. Only play Illinois, Michigan, and Rutgers once with all being home games. Only play MSU once as well at Breslin. One of the Purdue posters broke down the schedules and of the top teams there wasn’t a meaningful difference between Michigan, Purdue, and Illinois.

That’s pretty a favorable draw.I would guess IU has one of the easiest if not the easiest in the conference. Only play Illinois, Michigan, and Rutgers once with all being home games. Only play MSU once as well at Breslin.
If you can get solid play from the 3, it’ll be close.Eh, MD right there with OSU- but I’m biased of course.
Oh, no doubt. Terps finally have a true PG and C, which they were missing last season. If you can get solid play from the 3, it’ll be close.
Morsell and Wiggins were big losses on both ends, IMO.
Definitely not auto Ls.That’s pretty a favorable draw.
Still have Ohio State, Maryland, and Purdue(auto L’s) twice.
Even the easiest Big Ten schedules are tougher than most other conferences.
Lol Purdue = 2 losses this yearDefinitely not auto Ls.
I like Wahab a lot, don’t know as much about the PG.Oh, no doubt. Terps finally have a true PG and C, which they were missing last season.
He saw Curbelo's and got jealous.Dang Ivey was close to a triple double.
Dang Ivey was close to a triple double.
Ivey finished with 18 points, 9 assists and 6 boards (plus 8 TO's - which is what @IUBtown was referring to).Did someone post a box score

Is 1.29 pps and 1.1 ato not good? Not a very efficient night

They think it’s gonna be different every year and never is lolLol Purdue = 2 losses this year

This is the year though, just watch! They think it’s gonna be different every year and never is lol
It’s why the regular season standings aren’t an accurate judge of how good the teams are.
How’s the state of Michigan football poll coming along? Can’t get any options past Sparty...You’ve said this multiple times this off-season. Yet also this:
“I would say BBall is different but they’ve only finished ahead of Osu 3 times in the last 15 years and one was last year with a wacky Covid schedue”

Thanks ?
Maybe we’ll lose to Purdue twice, but we’ve beaten them rather easily over the last two years and have a team ranked similarly to theirs. Neither can be said for IU.For Illinois?
I enjoyed this oneCrazy, crazy night on our homeboard(s)

Michigan #9 in AP Poll:

UM finished with more total yards by a good margin and greater time of possession than MSU. UM out-played Sparty yesterday, and the game was at East Lansing. UM deserves #9 in the AP poll.
MSU plays at Purdue this week. Purdue won at Iowa two weeks ago, and defeated Nebraska yesterday. Purdue is legit. MSU must also still play OSU and PSU. Sparty's gonna get 2 B1G losses. Once that happens, it's GAME ON!
