Howard is a damn good college coach. Great recruiter too. I wish he'd go back to the pros.

We are talking about Fears in 2023, so Curbelo would have to stay the next two years.
None of these kids have played a minute in college.

No I didn’t. I did think Lander would be better than he was, but I fully understood he skipped his last year of high school. Archie’s offense wasn’t set up for a player like lander either. He needs to be in a pick and roll offense, not motion.
This has been the game this season I feel like we’ve been playing against the other team and the refs. Not only in the amount of calls that go against us in comparison to them, but also where the ball has been spotted.
Ah I forgot that it was Archies fault Lander sucked.
My point was moreso that the rankings of your guards are irrelevant. We will have just as much talent back there and will most likely still get Fears
You will not have close to the talent back there unless you think Curbelo is a 4 year player.
Wasn't totally on Miller, but how he used Lander(sparingly), didn't help matters. He(Lnader) never should have left HS early. Near the end of the year, Lander played well, back to back to games...Seemed to start to get it a bit. And Miller plays him 6 minutes over the final few games. He benched the kid early for the same issues our upperclassmen had. Just don't like how MIller handled Lander....
I 100% expect the kid to be much improved. He has the speed, vision, and ability to get by his guy. BUT....will the PT be there with Johnson/Phin? Dunno.

We lost Ayo from last year and still have the best backcourt in the conference.

You put so much faith in a transfer from a bad Utah team, and a D3 transfer that hasn’t played in 3 years. You have 4 guards and two are huge question marks. I’d take Maryland, Michigan, and IU’s guards as a whole over yours.
Edit: Obviously Purdue’s as well.

Iowa is going to lose. Purdue is moving the ball at will and I'm not sure Iowa can win without lucking into a turnover or two here.
Just got one with that unfortunate touchback. Petras is just not good enough of a QB for Iowa to really be a top 10 team.
Still didn't matter. 2 straight sacks and Purdue has the ball at the 50 again.
