I actually agree with NIL and think it's great that these young men (and maybe a couple women) are getting paid for their talents. I just think it's funny when fans are celebrating their school's success in year 1 of NIL. If you're having success already, you've probably been cheating and paying players for quite a while (ala Miami)

We’ll be fine. We’ll have the money we just weren’t ready to hit the ground running on NIL which was dumb. Just announced a big football stadium improvement so we’re not lacking in money. Just need to get the collective established asap and direct some of that money there. We have a Purdue Day of Giving this week and it’d be awesome if you could donate to NIL lol. Hopefully next year.

Idk if salty is the right word. More just shocked/surprised he got $800k and that Miami’s booster didn’t try to hide the fact that he bought a recruit lol.
