I don't see the NCAA going that route. They'll lose money----And a shit ton of it. Unless of course, they decide to make thos games pay per view.
It’s not necessarily the virus that is the issue, it’s the lawsuits that could follow. My guess is they cancel attendance or at least make people sign a waiver not to file a lawsuit.
I just don't see them cancelling attendance....They'd lose a ton of $$$. I'm not an attorney, but----seems to me any typeof lawsuit would be tossed aside. I mean, no one is making you go to the game(s).
You lose money either way might as well get the tv money still

if it's cancelled before the selection show, Purdue did not miss the tournament.

I’m pretty sure the NCAA has insurance to recoup any loss of attendance money and even concessions/miscellaneous losses. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did play these games without fans.

what I said it is difficult for any team to beat a in conference foe 3 times in one season. NEVER EVER said they can't. quit being a ass and put words in my posts that were never posted.
how this season ends will be interesting to watch, the Corona Virus causing the D2 colleges to hold closed door games. there is pressure mounting to do the same in D1.
the main reason is people travelling during this period when companies are sending home people home to work from home. there has already been a small college that have sent students home and will let them study online, getting full credit for the work they do.
TRAVEL being the key to why. no sense spreading the disease unnecessarily. 1000's of people travelling all over the country is very good way to spread it.
