The “Painter doesn’t yell at refs enough” is my personal favorite for every game we start to lose.
Purdue is already out matched, does
Karlaftis, probably Bell, and all the other studs that Brohm has landed vs....Newman. Brohm has a top 25 ranked group of recruits coming in, while Painter hasn't had a top 25 group of recruits since 2012 (which still turned out terribly). Your argument is pretty indefensible. There's a reason schools are trying to poach Brohm, but not Painter.
Purdue program is in great shape and is top 20 in the country. Why would anyone from a lesser program try to poach Painter? Purdue football isn’t even close to the same level as Purdue basketball. That’s why big dogs are coming for Brohm.
What schools would realistically come after Painter that’s a better job than Purdue?

UM’s going to win the national title this year. I had them only preseason final four but this is just insane.
How insane am I for wanting Turge to rest some players against Michigan this year, especially @ Michigan if they look this good throughout the year?
Purdue having to roll down to Tallahassee on Wednesday night and then coming to Ann Arbor on Saturday is not ideal.

I thought Msu would win at Louisville this week and then have a tough time going on the road again to Rutgers. I think the loss to Louisville probably woke them or encourage some desperation to not loss again at Rutgers.

Spinzone: UM (-6) was a lead-pipe lock and I hammered that bad boy.
Insane. The trey Burke team that went 16-0 in OOC play lost to a Purdue team that went 2-16 in Big Ten play. Anything can happen.
Jon Teske looked utterly useless two years ago with no chance of being a B1G player. Now he is a difference maker.
GG Michigan. Looking good. Not giving up hope or going to crucify this team at this point in the season. Everyone knew it’d be a work in progress.

I’m looking at it as we will probably need the rest. Especially since Turge’s teams tend to fall off at the end of the year.
This is one of those games that you chalk up as a loss coming into the season, especially with the tough stretch that Purdue is in right now. They will still win most of their home games and figure it out.

Not sure where you got 5-13 from. They went 2-16. But even if they had went 5-13 the point was that teams that look really good can still have off nights so there is no point in conceding a loss.
Purdue never went 2-16 in conference play during the Trey Burke years.
Michigan’s closest final score so far is the 17 point win over North Carolina
Our current frosh class was 9th in the b1g and painter is in his 14th year, Brohm is in his 3rd year and has the 4th best class. Brohm has charisma that attracts recruits to him that painter simply lacks.
