*Official* B1G In-Season Thread

Granted 2 of the 3 posts were in the off season thread, for some reason. Point still stands, you argued the West was better than the East and now you are saying the East is weak and thats why Brohm should stay.
Not a single one of those posts argued that the West was better than the East.

What does that prove? And that statement is true

gotcha. that's dumb.
Honestly though, you should go search Jeff Brohm on Twitter. Some of the tweets are hilarious. Like one of the tweets I saw earlier said something like, “a source close to Jeff Brohm claims that he’s been nominated by the Democrats to be the next Speaker of the House.” There are some seriously funny tweets on this Brohm stuff.

and a guy on their 247 is claiming he's leaving

A few of their normal poster insiders are. Their head guy Jody who apparently is actual close friends with the Brohms is saying 50/50 and he's truly torn.

Yeah he seems like one of the good ones for sure. There is another guy on their site that has been stubborn mule and has said he is a lock to Louisville since day one.

Rein supposedly knows stuff from time to time. IIRC he broke some info on Q. Snider when he flipped on signing day, but yeah, Jody does seem pretty skeptical about UL's chances in comparison to others.

If Thamel is correct, Purdue upped his contract to 6 mil/yr... yeesh. That's 1 million for every win. .

Smart move by Brohm. Goes to UL, he has to compete with Clemson, for a division title. At Purdue, he has to comepte against----well, not Clemson.

Good decision....

Does Purdue football generate a lot of revenue? Michigan overpaid for harbaugh but it doesn’t really matter because of how much the program generates.

I believe Purdue is last in the Big Ten in athletic revenue.
Latest figures available had Purdue 13th, just ahead of Rutgers. But there have been significant revenue increases since Brohm's arrival ($2.5M from 2016 to 2017) just from attendance jumps, not to mention apparel and concessions jumps. So they have more money to play with than previously.
