I think it’s pretty clear MSU is slightly better than UM this season.Actually really don’t want to play them. It would be great to win but if UM wins the whole narrative will be spun, even though we would have won 2-3.

I agree, but I live in the metro Detroit area. UM fans think they had a bad game the first game and got screwed the second game. They’re unbearable. If they beat us tomorrow I wouldn’t here the end of it, even though we would have won 2 out of 3.I think it’s pretty clear MSU is slightly better than UM this season.

but, Michigan's record is better as of now, and MSU hasn't played Michigan at full strength either.Yeah, our beat up squad is better than UM at full strength. I do think there is a breaking point though and Winston limping is not good. I would just bench him for the game.

To be clear, I don’t mean all UM basketball fans. Just the ones who love football and only care about basketball when UM’s good.

matthews played for 20 minutes with a sprained ankle, which he shouldnt have. the reason he was out game 2 was the injury from the game at crisler. At Crisler UM wasn’t at full strength? News to me.

Lol. Hahahaha, cool.

Yeah my comment was more because they won the big ten, rated higher on Kenpom even with the injuries, I think they’re a lot better offensively than UM, plus you throw in the head to head results just to top it off.I’m not saying MSU isn’t better, but too much weight can be put on head to head results sometimes. Michigan’s best weapon is Simpson locking up the other teams PG but Winston is impossible to shut down so it ends up being a bad matchup for Michigan.
Indiana swept Michigan State but that doesn’t make Indiana anywhere close to as good as Michigan State. MSU had a couple off games and/or Indiana played good those games.
He’s not even trolling you, dude, or making excuses. He just corrected you.
My take on Michigan and MSU is this- MSU's 'average' is slightly better than Michigan, but when Michigan is playing their A game they have a (slightly) higher ceiling.
A UM fan complaining to MSU fans this season about injuries. Wow. That’s a first.matthews played for 20 minutes with a sprained ankle, which he shouldnt have. the reason he was out game 2 was the injury from the game at crisler.
I don’t think he’s trolling me either.
I guess if MSU has Ward and Langford and Ahrens at full strength we blow UM out of the building. But yeah, Matthews and that sprained ankle. I’m all shook up over it.
Yes, a fully healthy MSU’s A game is better than UM’s fully healthy A game.I disagree 100%. Our A game beats them every time and that’s our B squad A game. Not even bringing in a healthy Ahrens, Ward, and Langford.
As of now MSU looks marginally better, other sites like torvik have Michigan 4th msu 7th, either way they are both close to top 5.Yeah my comment was more because they won the big ten, rated higher on Kenpom even with the injuries, I think they’re a lot better offensively than UM, plus you throw in the head to head results just to top it off.

Josh Langford is done for the season.Nick Ward, and Kyle Ahrens have missed significant time. Mcquaid missed some time. Cash has knee tendinitis and a toe injury right now.
But yeah, sorry Charles Matthews only played 20 minutes one game and missed the next.
I can show you 20 other metrics that has MSU higher. Most doAs of now MSU looks marginally better, other sites like torvik have Michigan 4th msu 7th, either way they are both close to top 5.
ok but, msu's A game with langford resulted in a 5 point loss to kansas and a loss to louisville. Michigan's A game beat North Carolina by 19 and Nova by 27 on the road.I disagree 100%. MSU wasn’t playing their A game those 2 games. MSU has gotten better as the season progressed even with injuries. UM has gotten worse, or has at least cooled off from the hot start that was helped by playing in Spain.ok but, msu's A game with langford resulted in a 5 point loss to kansas and a loss to louisville. Yeah, I guess. They were just on fire to start the year, and that was because of their Soain trip. Not sure if cooled off is the right description. They aren’t consistent but the Michigan team we saw yesterday and today is every bit as the team we saw early this year.
Read the conversation, man. The MSU poster said Michigan lost at full strength. All that guy did was point out that Michigan wasn’t at full strength. What’s so wrong about that?
This is true. UM was at full strength to begin the game but Matthews sprained his ankle.
Then MSU with their beat up B squad beat UM at home and then also beat them again at the Breslin Center to win the Big Ten regular season with Purdue.
He said MSU hasn’t played UM at full strength yet. UM hasn’t played MSU at full strength yet either. I thought it was an odd point to make that UM had one player play 20 minutes even though the other team was decimated with injuries.@MGC_07
Why do you take issue with someone simply correcting an MSU poster saying Michigan was at full strength when they weren’t? SpartyRBS is a troll through and through but I wouldn’t expect you to care about a troll being corrected.
That injury occurred like 2 minutes into the game. Saying Michigan was at full strength that game is odd. Throwing a fit because someone corrected you over that is even more odd.

Not false, just really odd.

Did you hear Matthews sprained his ankle?
it would not be the 1st time that Iowa lost to Duke in the NCAAT. so it wouldn't matter now would it and people would have nothing to bitch about if Iowa lost now would they. You’ll get cornholed by Duke
