In all seriousness, besides the Minnesota game, they've actually been playing pretty good since the 1st MSU win.
1st. Iowa game they hit 1 million 3s from ridiculously bad spots to pull out a 2 pt OT (I believe) win.
2nd. Ohio state once again, hit a 3 to win that was a good 5 ft behind the line and was thrown up as a prayer.
3rd. Purdue game could have gone either way.
4th. 2nd Iowa game was when they hit multiple ridiculous 3s that should never have been taken to win in OT
These games were all a situation where they just couldn't get over the hump. But, it doesn't change the fact that they've been playing pretty good for more then these 4 games.
This did make me think....I'm not sure how in the world they're going to be able to fairly seed IU. Because if you just focus on how the team played while healthy (which they are now).... IUs record would be 16 and 2. Whoever is a 1 or a 2 gets IU, it is really going to fck them over. But, it's not fair to all the other teams to put IU in a good seed position because they put more weight on the healthy games vs that horrible losing streak.
In before Gil complains about officiating. Iowa shot 32 FT’s (12 more than Nebraska) and were called for 4 less fouls.
In typical Iowa fashion, they have lost 5 of their last 6 to close out the regular season.

Fire Barta and then get someone to be the AD the fire Fran. I have come to grips with that I will never see an Iowa team in the sweet 16. If they do that’s great. I’ve been through the Lickliter years. I’m willing to take the chance that it gets that bad again for the chance to move the program forward. It’s stuck and not getting better. as for the ft's nebraska went full foul mode at the end of the game. but someone ignores that. but they called 8 fouls on Iowa to start the 2nd half to just 1 on Nebraska. the game was lost by Iowa as Cook was 5-11 to may misses in OT.
Watson was out of his mind in shooting the 3 61-163 coming into the game and he goes 7-12 from 3 most of them were rushed and some were as the clock was running out. at the end of the game he went 5-5 from 3. shooting out of his ass and playing the games of their lives on Sr day.
