How many players in the conference are better scorers than Poole?
Assuming you're referring to perimeter scorers, these are the guards/wings I think have a least an argument:

Carsen Edwards
James Palmer, Jr.
Cassius Winston
Vic Law
Romeo Langford (debatable due to the three-point struggles)

But - and I'm assuming this is your larger point - he's definitely among the league's best wing scorers and has been pretty efficient doing it. Would like to see him go ahead and make his way to the professional ranks this summer, tbh.

I feel the same way about Edwards ... that little midget lights us up.

Way off topic but now at a golf course board meeting and just found out they changed the rule that you can putt on the green with the pin staying in the entire time now.

Yep. I played today and left it in a few times for the hell of it.

Borden said Purdue only had two guys hitting threes. I countered with the fact that five guys have hit at least 12 - and added that no other team has more guys at or above that threshold. I wasn't randomly spouting a stat to brag on Purdue, I was statistically countering Borden's incorrect argument.

Would it really have been better if I said Purdue was one of three teams with five or more guys with 10 or more threes?
No, no....I said Cline and Edwards were really good shooters. I said you had TWO guys taking and making a lot of three's.

Also, IU has 6 players with 10 or more three's. ANd after today, we now have 5 players with 12 or more.

Romeo debatable because he can't shoot, Palmer debatable because he is an inefficient chucker.

CBB fans should be rooting for um to run the table until @iu because that atmosphere will be insane
Atmosphere will be insane regardless if UM comes in unbeatean or not. But I agree---An undefeated and Top rnked UM really bolsters things.

It aint the staff brother. You dont go from what we were defensively, to a Top 20 defensive team, b/c the staff can't prodeuce. . Our effort is pathetic....Thats on the kids.
It is tough world at this level, esp on the road. It takes years to develop a tough, consistent program. IU had some nice stretches in 2nd half. They also need more players. They have 2 now. I havent seen the frosh PG. So maybe he is another one.

Michigan has seven guys that can do it at any time. And now Johns just had his coming out party. Miller is only in second year so it is getting better but the level of a Michigan and MSU and the other top programs are wide step above most other programs.

Like I have said since August or so IU wins at home. Nothing about today made me change my mind

What does that have to do with my post?

We bet on a sweep. If Michigan swept, you lose. If Indiana swept, I lose. If no one sweeps, we both lose. Since Indiana can't sweep anymore you lost the bet. I can still lose, too, but I'm asking if you want to wait until Michigan (possibly) loses @IU or if you want your avatar now.

True. Indiana has been ravaged by injuries. Phinisee is a very good PG, for a freshman. He can shoot. Can get to the rim. A huge piece. Davis is a former Top 50 kid, thats been slowed by injuries. Didn't have him today either. Hunter is a Top 40 kid...Haven't had him all year. Race Thompson is another highly rated 4*, that IU hasn't had for 2 months. SO the pieces are there....Its just a lot of them are "broken" right now.

I like how Miller is recruiting. He's not going for it all, with one class. Next year in all likelihood we have Brooks and TJD. He's slowly building.

I like this team.

Yes, but paying up until a bet is over. I’ll do it by myself in two weeks or we do it together in two weeks

Garza plays sparingly AFTER missing the last 3 games and Jordan is getting on track with his shooting. tonights defense they hold Nebbie to 4-23 from 3. Jordan 5-8 from 3, 10-10 from the FTL. Kriener in his 1st ever start career in points with 14 and 3 blocks.
the strangest stat Nebraska only 6 TO's, Iowa with 6 steals. at least they will not go winless it the BT.

I'm going to go ahead and say something that I can almost guarantee that I'm going to regret down the road....

I don't think IU is very far behind either UM, or Michigan State. I do think that both of those teams are better, but it's not by a crazy margin. It's a close enough margin where I think if they would of had all of their players throughout the season.....they'd be right on that level. As of today, I think both Michigan and Michigan State are legitimate final 4 contenders. IU without a doubt isn't on that level today, but I can see a road that could bring them to elite 8 level.

Yes. Race was a 4* via Scout, ESPN and 24/7. He fell in Rivals b/c of reclassifying. He was rated 80th by Scout. His rating via 24/7 was 92. He was offered by Michigan as well.

Hunter was a fringe Top 40-50 kid, that fell to 52nd. Not a huge difference, really.

Justin Smith and Moore were also 4*.
