Johnny “Clutch Gene” Davis has a 37.3/22.9/50 shooting split in the league so far.

He shot 40% last year on >90 attempts. He’ll be fine wherever he lands.

There have always been Chicago kids in Btown, but hardly for the reasons you wish were true. Kelley, O'Neill, and Jacobs are each superior to the offerings in C-U and attract students who can afford the tuition (often N shore).
That high? Shocks me- personally both teams are very awful, stayed away from this one.

He can recruit so i think that's the optimism from the AD. But now that the wheels haven't completely fallen off I don't think they can fire a former player who took them to two consecutive tournaments after being absent for 5 years and being close to .500 in conference.
