We are good at certain things. Shooting isn’t one of them though.
Going out on a limb here but truly think Edey is better than Dickinson now. & the combo of Edey/Trevion compared to Michigan’s 5 isn’t close now whereas I thought it was going to be at the beginning of the season.
I may eat those words but Edey much more dominant in the games Ive watched of Purdue vs Dickinson in UM games.

I don’t think that was ever going out on a limb. It was when you counted the 4 position that Michigan supposedly had the edge but that has not come to fruition to this point.

Saying Edey will be better than Dickinson would have definitely been going out on a limb but I truly think that’s the case now. And yeah I’ve been thrilled with Purdue’s 4 position thus far. Furst is a fvcking stud, not flashy, but a fvcking stud. Getting Gillis back off the bench will help and it’s nice knowing Morton can fill in there too with solid minutes.
What was your take? I got shit like 10 days ago implying Edey might be as good as Dickinson already and you were right there with me I know. But I’ve gone above that now, give me Edey over Dickinson flat out. Were you saying Edey was better than Dickinson three weeks ago? Because I’m there with ya now if so.
Devante Jones is flat out awful. Team looked functional when Frankie Collins was in. Then Juwan decides to play Jones for the entire second half and literally crater both the offense and defense.
Johns is useless as well and Juwan seriously put Nunez on floor while giving Bufkin a DNP.
Brooks and Diabate played well, Houston was solid. Dickinson looks frustrated and uninterested. Juwan better embrace the freshman class pretty quickly if he wants any chance of competing in the Big Ten this year
So what happened in the world of B10/CBB, tonight? I had one of the best HS games ever; though I doubt the fans behind the bench will be sending a Christmas card any time soon. Crazy,game. Team down 5, with 10 seconds left.....Hit a three----lead is two---BUT, in HS, the clock does not stop. So all the visiting had to do, was let the ball bounce...For some reason kid picks up the ball, then for reasons beyond me---he steps out of bounds---no biggie, but then steps back in bounds; I think he though tthe clock had ran out. But it had not. Buzzer sounds, but there time left....We correct clock to .5 seconds----home team runs a great OOB play, hits tying shot. Overtime #1. No drama in OT.....kids misses front end with 3 seconds left.....Onto 2 OT. Then 3rd OT----and thats where it gets entertaining.
Home team leads by 6------30+ seconds to go. Kid hits a three----cuts lead to three. No timeouts...Home team gets break away---dude hammers it home---5 point game, BUT----he slaps the ball into the stands. Since there had been a delay of game warning already----its a technical foul. So I call it, and head to the table to report....Coach is irate. I simply tell him---I have no choice---its the rule. If I don't call it, I'm gonna have "Mike" in my ass. Coach says, "So what you are saiyng is you're scared of "Mike?" ...Nope.Not scared, but he's gonna wanna know why there was no tech, and I have no reason to give----Again, its the rule, "Dave". He then says, "so now you're gonna worry the rules, after being shit all night"? I give him the "hand palm"----Easy now. I report the "T", start to walk to other sode of floor, and of course, "Dave" couldn't resist---Comes about 10 feet out on the floor, yells my name----and says--"Absolute shit call---and you know it is".
I'm like,damn, really...I motion him back to the box----He just stands there. He doesn't say anything,so I'ml like---fine. But then "Dave" cannot resist......"Just pure shit"...Bang----Tech. So now we have 4 FTs coming....Kid hit 3 of 4. Two point game. Kid then hits a fukin three with 4 seconds to go....1 point game. Time out....Scorers table tells me---they have one 30 second left. Ok. Throw ball to h/c, kid calls timeout---we give it. Just one problem.---table was wrong. They didn't have any left.
Yep----technical foul.
Coach goes ape shit----and I get it. And I let him rant....and rant. Again, I get it. Kid hits one of two....Two point game, 2.2 seconds left. As they inbound the ball, for some reason, kid runs the side line.....Violation.
Home team ball----2.2 to go. Run a terrific OOB play, pump fake, 3 at the buzzer.....
GOOD!!!! WIn the game by one.

Speaking of HS games I was able to watch Osu commit Brice Sensabaugh play in his first HS game in 2 years yesterday and he might be underrated after jumping way up the rankings already. His team played against maybe the most talented public school in the country with kids going to Kansas, Florida and Mississippi State and a sophomore with D1 offers. He hit a game winning three with a hand in his face to finish with 39 in a 61-60 win over Dr. Phillips.
Thought that about Nunez for years but instead Juwan tries to play him in the rotation. I’m positive Loyer is better than Nunez.
It’s frustrating. It sucks when you’re playing a great game and then your garbage players come in who the other teams just go in on.
We get bitched around down low when Marble comes in. Sissoko is raw but I have trouble believing he’s worse. He’s definitely rebound better.
We start 2 seniors, 2 juniors, and a freshman. Not that young.
