The recruiting is a step up from what it’s been but I agree, it needs to get better.
I think it’s silly to expect Day results currently when Tucker is getting largely late Dantonio recruiting class players, which were terrible, to put out on the field.
We’re definitely getting embarrassed, but even if we lose out, it’s been a super successful and surprising season. Going in I expected 5-7.
However , nature of the beast -with this huge contract comes raised expectations for the future .

On a macro level, it doesn’t matter. The gap between osu and the rest of the conference is getting wider, not more narrow.

That’s on MSU fans to reconcile with themselves. This contract for Tucker is more a product of LSU lusting after him and MSU not wanting to find a new coach (I can’t blame them for that). I don’t know if the contract inherently creates larger expectations, it’s just the cost of doing business in college football.

Oh 💯 agree - LSU wanting Tucker played a HUGE factor in the pay raise . However , just wondering what Sparty fans expectations will be starting next season.
