You clearly aren’t watching well then. Painter thinks he’s playing well, Purdue fans think he’s playing well, but Trojan thinks he sucks. I can live with it.
Purdue fans think they have the best team in the country. That’s the kind of false hope you get when you play cupcakes. Look at the Iowa idiot in this thread.

I can’t put anyone above Gonzaga until someone beats them actually but the #2 spot is wide open & think Purdue has as good of shot as anyone to end there along with a mix of other really good teams. I think Purdue will have a top 5 offense all season. We’ll see where the defense finishes up.

Lol there is no way you can put yourself above UCLA at this point.

I wouldn’t put Purdue above them but they’re in the same bucket IMO. Again, we’ll know by after Sunday. If Purdue goes 0-2 this weekend, I’ll be proven wrong.

His role isn’t to score on the team. He’s played his role perfectly so far this season, I just don’t know what else he could have done to impress you. I’m happy for the kid that he’s found his way to meaningful minutes & be productive with them.
Didn’t you know? Scoring is the only thing that matters. Just ask Trojan. He knows.

what are you going to judge him on? Because he’s already played well and you haven’t given him an ounce of credit lol

& sadly I’m in a wedding tomorrow during that time so I’ll have to catch the game later.

He judges him on scoring lol.

If Purdue loses at all you will be proven wrong. UCLA already beat Nova.

I think jumping to that big of conclusions based on 1 game is silly. I still have Michigan in that bucket of teams despite losing at home to Seton Hall.

Lol whatever you say. You guys jumped all over IU because they only one by 6 to Eastern Michigan.

And everything else. You guys act like he puts up great numbers outside of scoring. He doesn’t.

Solid hyperbole Batman. We said he’s been solid this year which is true. You can’t admit he’s been decent this year for some weird reason.

You guys act like he’s been great. He’s been decent… against very poor competition. We will see how he does playing the 4 against good cbb players.

For the record, I think proclaiming Purdue a sure-fire top-5 team based on the past 3 games is wrong. But I don't blame fans for being excited based on what they've seen.

Purdue has looked awesome so far, but the next two days will tell us a lot about this team.

2-0 won't make them a Final Four lock; and 0-2 doesn't make them a flop. But I'm really interested in how Edey handles legit size in Bacot today; and how our guards defend real playmakers in Love and Davis today, and either Gillespie or Chandler tomorrow. Our backcourt is really vulnerable to dribble penetration.

Also, Ivey's decision-making will be on full display. I won't be surprised if he has a couple early TO's and/or offensive foul(s) right off the bat this afternoon. But hoping he settles in and can pick his spots effectively.

I completely agree with everything you said. GL today.

Uh, you know he was acquitted, right? That makes your statement really odd.
Yeah I had a reply to him about it and deleted it because I was confused what he meant.

I guess it was like saying Illinois is going to get Ramboed? Meaning killed.

Sparty isn't scared of the Buckeyes
They’re too talented offensively. All first round WR’s. And we have a lot of injuries.

Our best and fastest LB is out. Our LB’s can’t keep up with their athletes.
