With my eyes, after watching Michigan, Texas, UCLA, Kansas, Nova, Zags, Purdue is right there with all those teams. We have more depth than all of those teams, two all American centers, an electric lead guard and three point shooters. Only question is defense.

Depth is overrated, because you only need a 7 or 8 man rotation to succeed. Your best players should be playing 35+ mpg. As the saying goes, if you have two starting QBs, you have no QBs.

Purdue will never have a drop off at the 5. 40 minutes of excellence at all times. No other team in the country can say that. That matters. 10 fouls to give. There is no drop off with Purdue’s reserves. But conversely, IU really looked like shit when XJ was in foul trouble and brick layer Phinisee had to play big minutes against St. John’s.
