Not sure the officials know you can call a foul before the inbounds. Credit to Maryland for giving it their all but that is trash officiating.

The short red that looks like a little wrestler guy can get fukced.

once the momentum gets going down the stretch they don’t call anything.
The entire time Robbie Hummel is confused how we can’t inbound the ball. They show a replay and Maryland dude is grabbing Walker’s jersey. Maryland dude gets all ball when he contests the pass and is saying it’s not a foul and Izzo shouldn’t be complaining. But you can see the Maryland player grabbing jersey. Like okay. Whatever, broadcast is trash and Hummel doesn’t seem to like MSU much. All good. Win and move on.

Wyoming is a bubble team, probably safely in now.
Yeah I know they were on the fringe, but their trajectory has been going from an 8 or 9 seed earlier this year to slowly out of the field. A bid steal generally refers to a team that is not going to make the tourney unless they win the conference tourney, which steals an at large bid. I suppose it could be applied to a bubble team seen on the outside going into conference tourneys and then playing their way in with wins there.

But there’s no way it can/should apply to a team already projected in the field securing the spot by wins in the conference tourney. Who are they stealing a spot from? Themselves?

Conference record isn't a consideration.
They have a comparable resume to Michigan where they both have a bunch of losses and a difficult schedule. But Michigan has more quad 1 wins and a better strength of schedule. Oklahoma makes it much more interesting if they beat Texas Tech tomorrow, but as of now, they’re still on the outside looking in. Also FWIW, I think Tech fücking works them tomorrow. Tech is a final four team in my eyes.
