I’m not shocked Purdue fans are complaining about playing two games in 48 hours. That kind of turnaround doesn’t typically go well for them given their tournament history.
I'm going to need somebody to explain the how fast is your dog thing. I must have skipped those pages.
Hail was talking about how his dog trains and competes in races. Westy has been making fun of him ever since for some reason.
Several of us were talking about our dogs and I said mine was very fast. Then posted about a dog sport she’s doing called Flyball. B-Westy is trying to make fun of me for it because I don’t bite when he insults my entertainment system or school.
Oh it was absolutely a bad loss but the schedule absolutely played a role in the outcome. A lot of things that went wrong last night on our end screamed of fatigue.
The schedule change probably allowed for you to win at Illinois as well. Instead of playing Friday in AA and heading to Illinois for a game on Monday, you got a whole week off. Michigan is a bad matchup for you regardless of when the game is played.
You voluntarily posted all that personal shit that nobody cares about in the middle of season because Michigan was horrific to start the year after a whole off-season of chest thumping. Not sure where you're getting that. We were originally supposed to play in Ann Arbor on a Tuesday, then at home against Nebraska on Friday, and then at Illinois the following Monday. We still played Nebraska but there was always supposed to be 6 days in between playing at UM and at UI.

The Big Ten Conference released several tipoff times and television designations ahead of Purdue's 2021-22 basketball season. Here is the complete Purdue Boilermakers basketball schedule.
We had to travel to Mackey to play a top 5 team, travel to Penn State and grind out a game because we suck, and then host that same top 5 Purdue team playing with as much momentum as anyone in the country.
You're not wrong but going Purdue, Penn State, Purdue isn't the same as going Michigan, Illinois, Michigan. The whole situation sucks because of you guys shutting things down a month ago but it is what it is.
I’m 100% sure I posted last year when my dog passed away late last February and 100% sure I posted about our new dog when we got her in March. That was when Michigan was a top 10 team. I don’t just post personal stuff when Michigan sucks.

No question Michigan had the tougher road. Had to travel for all 3 games while Purdue only had to travel for one.

I mean I think you can point to a lot of things as to the reasons for the outcome tonight. Obviously Purdue's defense isn't good but their offense is good enough to win on most nights. But with how we shot last night, the turnovers, and the rebounding margin, it all adds up to a blowout. Last night was the exception, not the norm IMO.
Most years it would be but with the number 1 offense, you give yourself some cushion. Definitely makes me nervous for the tournament but we hadn't had many offensive games like we did last night which is good.

I get that but teams built to get to a final 4 are typically built to not lose like that during the season. They can make a run but last night kinda gave a pause to how vulnerable they can be when shots aren't falling and Edey is out of the game for long stretches. You can say that about a lot of teams sure but your typical final 4 teams should have ways to overcome that. Purdue requires that spacing and it's just not there without edey.
Past final four teams didn’t have to deal with scheduling snafus putting teams in binds with such quick turnarounds either. Your points are valid but there is some context here with these covid cancellations. Would the same result have happened if this game was played a month ago? Maybe. But you can’t ignore the scheduling issues that have suddenly been added into the equation the past two years.
Didn't Michigan play Sat/Tue/Thur also? Only Michigan played 2 away games before and Purdue played two home games. Who do you think was more worn out from travel/play?

Purdue had travel issues in Minnesota with the storm last week that threw this week off too. Been a crazy 12 days.
I get that a couple Purdue posters have been emotionally posting recently, but trying to draw March conclusions based on one game by an underperforming bubble team desperate for wins is a massive stretch. We've been blown out once this year, on the road, out of 25 games. The defense isn't great, but they seemed slower than usual, probably due to the # of games played recently. We will see how they fare @MSU or @Wisconsin, and if it happens again, I'll be worried, but otherwise I think this team's defense is serviceable enough, and their offense good enough, to compete with anyone in the country on a neutral court.
Edit - one example is 2015/2016 Villanova, who were national champions, lost by 23 to Oklahoma in the regular season (ironically they ended up obliterating them by 40 points in the FF later that year).
