Who cares? Isn’t this is what a message board is for. Howard implemented the “we suck right now so let’s postpone games against the top half of the league due to covid while we regroup” strategy to perfection. Purdue, Illinois and MSU are now forced to cram in rescheduled games against Michigan in the back half of a competitive big ten race. All so they had a chance to make the tournament. It’s disappointing but ultimately not surprising after last years covid shenanigans.

You shouldn’t have to make excuses vs a 13-9 team. MSU and Illinois didn’t.
How? It’s literally popular sentiment among the big ten fan bases that Howard ducked games last year, forced the Big Ten’s hand into letting them have the title with a 14-3 record. That insanity. A leopard doesn’t change its spots. This is the exact same tactic, and credit Michigan for making it work. But Howard now has two years of history of ducking games in favor of his own team.
There would have been no excuses if this game was played a month ago like it should have been.

Honestly, you probably should have pulled your starters at the end of the Illinois game instead of playing them until the final whistle. It’s not like that game was in doubt and it would have given them a bit more rest.
