Martinez is just hard to trust with how wild he can be. End result is usually on point, but there is way more variance than you want.Well time to start drinking
Insurance is needed
Crazy that Hail and Tommy are comparing the famed #iubb to Purdue football. But that’s where we’re at.I know the past 20 years have been very Purdue like. It's embarrassing.

Seems like we’re comparing iu basketball to that .500 program...in an effort to own Purdue fans. The problem is our age Purdue football fans think they are something they are not because they saw some success in the 90s-2000s. History shows it’s a .500 program.
Did I do that right?

I mean in their first two seasons Archie was .530 and Brohm was .500 so I guess it’s fair.
Same. Such an accomplishment it’ll be for Archie to surpass Purdue football.I have a good feeling Archie’s winning percentage after year 3 will be much higher than Brohm’s

Just imagine after the year is over and Allen has more wins in the same time as Brohm at Purdue. Talk about awkward.
Nah. Nobody was comparing the programs historically. You’re just making shit up.Crazy that Hail and Tommy are comparing the famed #iubb to Purdue football. But that’s where we’re at.

Yeah, I get this. But ya know, everyone on here is guilty of doing such. Obviously I do not mean every single Purdue fan. Just as you don't mean every single IU fan, when you say, "IU fans".I really wish posters would stop using some posters comments and equating it to an entire group of posters. Obviously I’m a Purdue guy but don’t recall diminishing the injuries IU had last year - if I did it was completely a troll but to be honest I don’t think I did. For the obvious reason that the assertion is stupid. IU got nailed with a lot of injuries affecting key players and/or depth. Also hard to get the roles and rhythm down. It hurt them significantly. For the same reasons to ignore that Purdue has gotten hammered with injuries in football is equally as stupid. You can argue impact but that’s a lot of crap as well. IU got hurt in b-ball - Purdue is getting hurt in football and honestly Purdue wasn’t looking deep anyway. And clearly the top two trolls in this thread really don’t give two ****s about an honest dialogue.
We should compare Big Ten wins. Purdue football actually schedules P5 programs in the non-conference while IU....uh....well......Just imagine after the year is over and Allen has more wins in the same time as Brohm at Purdue. Talk about awkward.

I hate to be so negative but man that was just so predictable. Martinez should have been done as a closer in the regular season. Is it because if they money they are paying him?
The series isn’t over but wow what a punch to the gut.

That was pathetic. Walking McCann was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

Like Central Michigan, Nevada and 1-4 Vanderbilt?
Felt like Matheny all over again.
Hopefully the Cubs dont make that mistake.Hires from within rarely work. Especially from a staff of the fired head coach.

Nah...there’s a couple here who base most of their posts on the assumption that all or a significant majority of a teams posters hold a certain position. It’s false at the outset. Compounded by a complete fabrication of what was posted. The last several pages of the inane view that a lot of Purdue posters were overhyping the football team are just the latest case in point. It’s not true and it never happened.Yeah, I get this. But ya know, everyone on here is guilty of doing such. Obviously I do not mean every single Purdue fan. Congrats on your win over P5, powerhouse, 1-4 Vanderbilt. And your 34-13 loss to TCU.WinkingWe should compare Big Ten wins. Purdue football actually schedules P5 programs in the non-conference while IU....uh....well......
So, you are telling me you have never said, "IU fans"? That you specifically point out which IU fans, and have done so every single time?Nah...there’s a couple here who base most of their posts on the assumption that all or a significant majority of a teams posters hold a certain position. What’s the other option at this point? Hicks was pretty wild as well.@VulvHa @boiler1987
