If a couple of stooges want to wear them it doesn’t bother me. Why it bothers some of the Purdue fan base I’ll never know.
Just because someone points out a douche doesn’t mean he/she is bothered.
Of course you don’t think th big drum is weird, and that’s my point. It’s a Purdue thing. Candy striped pants are an IU thing. You think it’s weird because you’re not a fan of IU. I think tons of shit Purdue fans do is weird that you probably don’t. They’re fans. That’s not different than getting all decked out for whatever team you root for. You think it’s overly weird because you’re a Purdue fan. We get it.

Everything I have seen on this thread this week I do blame on James Edward Delany.
You must not read this thread very much if you think any of the following is somehow unique to the B1G not playing for a week:
1. The same 4 people quoting all of Giligans posts to argue Iowa players HS stats and make the same tired arguments theyve been having with him for years
2. Indiana and Purdue fans making complete asses out of themselves just to one up troll the other
3. People tripping over themselves to quote and argue my facts with their biased opinions.

Someone argued with me today that assuming a player from Sudan having a Sudanese accent is racist and beung stereotypical. Then, when I opened a different thread, I had found that same poster contradicted himself by assuming people up north talked with a Boston accent.
Then another person argued that their team doesnt care about trying and winning a game they ended up winning.
Trying to wade thru the aids on this board to find a decent basketball convo or two has becoke exhausting.

CBS came out with a report that Ward will come off the bench, Miles at the 4 and Jaren at the 5. We’d start McQuaid. Honestly I think that is a great lineup, but that means 100% Ward is gone (as predicted). Also, like, this could be completely false. Idk how CBS would know
Don’t care if Ward starts or not but Ward needs to play 25 minutes a game in the tourney.
Ward is 6’8, not in great shape, can’t space the floor, cant handle double teams, can’t defend anybody except traditional centers, and has a very poor attitude about the game and being at MSU in general. Ward is a great post offensive player, and rebounds well sometimes, but outside of that what does he bring?
Nick Ward starting to look a little like Diamond Stone. Offense is there, but DGAF about anything else.
Schilling is a great defensive player. He sets the best ball screens and defends the pick and roll better than anyone on our team. Ward is better, but in certain situations Schilling is the play ( like Purdue, Issac Haas). To be honest, I really think Tillman is the way to go. Tillman doesn’t have the post moves Ward has, but is basically better in every other area of basketball. Defends much better, is a better passer, handles the double team better, hustles a lot harder. We have enough offense on our starting lineup.
There is no doubt in my mind Tillman hustles harder. Probably harder than anyone on our team besides Tum.

Not terribly upset with where we ended up, would've been cool getting the 3 to Detroit but that looks like it ended up being a way tougher draw.
You wanted Detroit AND the better draw despite Michigan's resume being just as good?
I’d rather have your path. Even though no Detroit your region is quite weak. Duke in the sweet sixteen for us is terrible.
