Side note Kevin Huerter’s interview was nice after the game yesterday. Said Turge is going to take all the heat because that who he is, but he wasn’t the one who missed the FT, didn’t box out, or threw the ball away in the last minute of the game.
this is true of every team as the coach can only do so much. the players still have to execute the plays. a coach can't play the game. shoot ft's play offense or defense, box out on rebounds, only the players on the court can do that.

At least one of those should’ve been a charge. Comical that they were both blocks.
They were both very clear charges but as a general rule of thumb, I try to avoid complaining about Refs REFFIN since it happens every game.
Hopefully Gard lays into the refs. 9-2 free throw advantage, 11-5 foul advantage. And MSU pays its players and basically condones molestation. Tough to overcome.
Everybody knows Izzo is top 5 dirtball coach in basketball. The Payne, Appling coverup is sickening. People give Izzo a pass because he’s 5ft 4.

Tyler Cook isn’t going to Missouri.
Iowa’s star forward was the subject of some rumors that he’d transfer from the Hawkeyes to the program from his home state, though it’s unclear whether those rumors got any further than a few message board posts.
He cleared the air on Friday, one day after Iowa’s season-ending loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament. Cook’s statement doesn’t mention Iowa, so it’s still not a guarantee he’ll be back in Iowa City for the 2018-19 season. But this does remove one option for his future. Missouri was the only team rumored to be in contention for his services as a transfer, so there’s nothing pointing toward Cook transferring elsewhere at this time. The NBA draft is another possibility for him. Cook can declare for the draft and run through drills at the NBA combine before withdrawing his name and returning to Iowa if he chooses, so long as he doesn’t hire an agent first.
Hell yeah. Doesn't mean he isn't gonna go to the G league but this is good news on the first day of our offseason that he isn't transferring. The reasoning why everyone was saying he was going to Missouri was flawed anyway and that's why I refused to believe it until something was official. Now that it is official, I can say proudly that I was right. What I think will happen is he will test NBA waters and then end up deciding to come back for another year of school. I could very well be wrong, though. Wouldn't be the first or the last time. Thoughts on this @nitewing?
I'm probably glad I didn't post. Yesterday was the 1st anniversary bash for my brewery and I may have sampled the wares a bit too much.
