We have 5 coaches with a title. Only one is a alumni.

Roy was a no brainer. Hubert was never a smart hire but the AD also never had a say in the matter so...
I think it's so stupid when a program gives the retiring coach the authority to choose his successor. Obviously he's going to choose someone he has a close relationship with and not necessarily the best option. It's not like Roy built the damn program. Carolina was Carolina way before he got there.
I agree. Bubba said when Roy retired how important it was to hire someone with head coaching experience. Then he realized that was not actually going to be important.
Gotta get over the "keeping it in the family" thing too. Limiting options like that is a good way to get left in the past.
That second foul I thought Cal might get tossed (again) by Ayers.
