He doesn’t stand out like I’d hope for a number 2 pick outside of his quickness and he’s physically underwhelming. It’s only one game, but I’m not close to being sold off of that first quarterJust the microscopic sample but Jalen Green looks legit. Fun player to watch.

Who played well yesterday?
Bol Bol is a guy that intrigues. He is with Denver right?
Can he play the 4 & 5? Not much room @ the 5 but could see him getting minutes at both maybe.Yes, he's still with Denver. Hasn't played much though

Yeah my post didn’t age well. I made it after the first quarter of his first game….he went on to look like baby kobe for the next 3 lol. Jalen green definitely looks the part so farGreen looked like a stud. One thing I like to look for is how well a player moves and gets to the spot he wants. Green against this level competition could get whatever he wanted. He’s very athletic and quick with good handles and shot. Not worried about his strength as NBA trainers will make him stronger without losing quickness or athleticism.
I think Cade will show to be the better all around player. Jalen looks to be a deadly individual offensive player out the gate, but shows little to no interest in playing any defense or setting his teammates up offensivelyMy irrational hot take after one game: Detroit screwed up taking Cade over Green. Green looks like a stud who will lead the league in scoring one day.
For the Hawks, Jalen Johnson looked like a major steal at #20. Looked really good last night.
Cooper looks really good in terms of getting into the lane and distributing the ball. Needs to work on strength, but looks like he could be a great pick at #48. Getting to learn from Trae will be a huge benefit for him.
Why do you feel this way? They can both stretch the floor. Would both be defensive liabilities if on the floor together?I'm not sure you can play him and Jokic at the same time, which is why Bol isn't playing much.

We saw it with Russ Smith a few years back. Amazing college player, just too small for the nba.Carsen Edwards averaging 15.5 points, 8 boards and 5.5 assists against just 0.5 TOs.
Too bad he's just not big enough to get consistent NBA run. No way for a shooter like him to get into a rhythm. Only a matter of time before he's playing overseas IMO.

don't mean to single out this post, but I personally put no stock in what vets do in summer league. Anyone who's played a year or two in the NBA should absolutely dominate Summer League. I only pay attention to the rookies.Carsen Edwards averaging 15.5 points, 8 boards and 5.5 assists against just 0.5 TOs.

Not sure I'd call Carsen a vet. He's played in 68 career NBA games and averaged 9 mpg in those games.don't mean to single out this post, but I personally put no stock in what vets do in summer league. That said........how bout DePaul's Max Strus!!!!!!!
I was thinking something similar with Nwora. But he also had a strong Olympic run and he kind of has an NBA game, at least he does when he starts and I use him for 3k in Draft Kings!don't mean to single out this post, but I personally put no stock in what vets do in summer league. I call anyone who spent a year in the NBA or the G League a vet for summer league purposes. Just being in the league and being around those players should make a massive difference in a players game from year 1 to year 2.Not sure I'd call Carsen a vet. He's played in 68 career NBA games and averaged 9 mpg in those games.
He made almost as many threes in the 2019 NCAA tournament as he has in the NBA.
