NBA playoffs 2023

Ehh. They’re inconsistent. They played awesome last night though. Denver will be a tough out for anyone. Plus, Miami has had Bostons number all year, and playoff Jimmy Butler has been on fire. They almost play better without Hero.

The rich get richer. My Celtics are the greatest franchise of all time.

Been watching it all brother. This has been the best playoff I’ve seen in years. Lakers/GS series is gonna be so good. I think the warriors win tonight, but the Lakers seem to be firing on all cylinders. Super impressed with Austin Reeves, and if AD can stay healthy and play like he did the other night, anything is possible.

Adjustments from Kerr will be interesting. And now all games are every 2 days, and that would seem to play into the Warriors hands with the pace they like to play at. GS still has no answer for AD no matter what adjustments they make, the overall height advantage the Lakers have will still be an issue. Should be really fun going forward. Hopefully Draymond's punk ass does something to get himself bounced for at least a game.

yep. Agreed. Steph will do what he needs to do, but Poole and Klay need to hold up their end of the backcourt. Draymond is crucial to the flow of the Warriors offense. He’s annoying, but they need him to run what they run. Especially with back door screens, and slip screens as well as p&r’s. Agree with the AD statement. Looney can only do so much, and he’ll get dominated on the glass if someone doesn’t double AD. Looney looked good against Sacramento on the boards, because they didn’t have your prototypical big man. The problem with doubling AD, is there is a man named LeBron James who will eat your lunch.

Ya"ll are sleeping on the Denver Nuggets like everyone else in the country. This team has the most continuity and has no weaknesses.

Michael Porter Jr. hasn't even been playing well and they're still punking the Suns.

They’re the most formidable/consistently good team I’ve watched this entire year and playoff. Wild people are even sleeping on them. Their starting lineup is so good, and have a nice bench too.

Is this a real thing or not? It'd be hard to find many, perhaps any, players who'd publicly admit to this, so I guess we'll never know. But, I suspect there's a high correlation between those who frequently don't hustle and those who don't truly love the game.

Embiid got MVP over Jokic because of voter fatigue imo.
Agreed, but both are playing at extremely high levels. Embiid almost choked yesterdays game away…but Harden saved the day. Embiid loses his mojo sometimes and doesn’t always play with the intensity he should. If he did…we’d be seeing Hakeem/Shaq like performances where they just dominate the game.

Where the hell did Lonnie Walker come from tho? Maybe the warriors were caught off guard and wondering the same thing Laughing

sounds like a question for @TKBray

He's always been very talented. One of the few 5 star commits Miami has landed in their history. There weren't many games where he really went off in his one season at Miami, he had like 26 against Boston U but that was about it. He did hit several clutch shots that season to win or tie games late in the second half. So he definitely showed what he was capable of at times.

I thought he could have benefited from returning for a second season at Miami but he did go 18 to the Spurs so can't really fault him for leaving. I didn't watch him a ton with the Spurs so not sure why it didn't work out better there. Could be that Pop's system wasn't great for him. I was definitely excited when the Lakers signed him this offseason. They needed shooting and scorers outside of LBJ & AD so I thought it could be a good landing spot. Not to mention all the attention those two command so I thought he'd get a lot of good looks. Kudos to Walker for staying locked in and ready to play when his name was called after he fell out of the rotation after the Lakers made all those moves at the trade deadline.

By the way, Walker actually ended his one season at Miami in a pretty rough way. I had kind of blocked this game out of my mind lol. In the first round of the 2018 NCAA tournament, 6 seed Miami lost on a buzzer-beater to the Cinderella of that season, 11 seed Loyola Chicago and sister Jean 🤦🏾‍♂️ on their route to the final four. Miami was up 62-61 with 26 seconds left, inbound pass to Walker and he gets stripped and the ball hits off his leg on a big turnover. Next Miami possession, still up 62-61 with 9 seconds left, Walker misses the front end of a 1 and 1. Loyola goes down and hits a 3 with less than a second left. 🤮🤮🤮

Steph will do what he needs to do, but Poole and Klay need to hold up their end of the backcourt.

Game 3 - Overpaid Klay - 15 points on 5-14 shooting

Jordan " I got my bag so **** it " Poole - 5 points on 2-9 shooting

Game 4 - Klay ( I think Coach was ready to grab him and strangle him with those late game bricks ) - 9 points, 3-11

Jordan - 0.0 points, 0-4

Adjustments are hard to make when these two are doing more to help the Lakers than GS.
