Westbrook so clutch with these free throws. Didn’t miss one this whole 4th.

Never have understood the Westbrook hate. Dude plays his heart out, and is still so explosive. Btw, that’s game over.

Impressive w by Houston. That’s only like the 13th loss by the Bucks.

Giannis, Middleton, and Lopez all played great and the Bucks got nothing out of anyone else.

I think he's never been the best player on his own team but wants to play like he is. My argument with Russ is, he will never win anything because he always wants to be the lead guy, but he's not good enough to be the lead guy. Doesn't shoot it well enough for his high volume of 3's and jumpers.

He seems like a good guy for the most part. But I wouldn't want him on my team if I already had a superstar.

For most of his career I’d agree, except now. He seemed to accept his second role alongside Harden and has been playing really really well since they traded Capela. Give Russ space in the lane to drive and he is probably the most dangerous finisher in the game outside of Giannis or LeBron.

Talen wise I agree with you. As soon as he starts settling, though, I'm out.

Yeah agreed, Westbrook is not a good shooter and in OKC he took a lot of shots he didn’t need to, and I’m not saying he’s perfect, but I’ve seen and the stats have seen significant improvement with the trade of Clint Capela. It allows him to be at his most effective.

Agree when he had Durant in OKC, but after Durant bolted, Westbrook was unquestionably the best player for OKC for a few years. Hell dude averaged a triple double one year, with no all stars around him.

And now that he’s seemed to quit settling for threes, he makes the Rockets much better than when they had CP3 imo. I’m excited to see how they do in the playoffs this year. I’ve always been a Westbrook fan just bc he’s so explosive and fun to watch.

for the most part the games have been great. I've been watching basically non-stop other than when I'm at work. But, I record all the early games so I can watch those when I get home. The battles involving the teams fighting for that final spot in the West have been intense. Last night the Spurs lost a hearbreaker to Philly that could end up costing them a playoff berth.

Yea the battle for the 8th seed in the west is particularly exciting. I hated seeing MEMPHIS lose to NO last night, but i imagine the NBA brass are creaming themselves at the thought of a Lebron/zion first round playoff matchup.

I wish they would have a mini tourney with any team in the west within 4 games of the 8 seed instead of just the 8 and 9 seeds playing for the 8th spot.

DAME TIME

Also, Gary Trent Jr has been the biggest surprise of the bubble.

really hoping Portland gets that 8 seed cause they have a legit chance of ousting the Lakers or at least making it an interesting story.

Doesn't matter though cause no one's beating LAC this year. I think Toronto could surprise and make it back to the Finals. Toronto vs Kawhi one year after he led them to the title would be pretty sick.

I wish I could argue these points, but I’m thinking Bron might not get #4 this year.

Celtics romping Raptors right now.
I was talking to my buddy the other night when the NBA restarted. I said if one team wouldn't surprise me coming out of the east other than Milwaukee, its Boston. Not the Raptors, not the Sixers, no the Heat, but the Celtics.

I like the Celtics but they don’t match up well with the Bucks. That’s what makes the East so interesting I suppose. I could see it being the Bucks, Celtics, Raps, and Heat. Though, I think the Bucks have it wrapped up if they stay consistent and don’t have any injuries.

Luka Doncic is like a much bigger and better John Stockton. He is able to see and read everything. Watching this game and the guy is no dount top 3 in the league on offense already. He needs to improve his defense but otherwise he is unstoppable on offense.

I’m not so sure this bubble isn’t an extensive ploy to prop Vegas and online sportsbooks back up.

Especially after watching a bill go down the drain when PORTLAND, who is fighting for a playoff spot iirc, couldn’t finish off the Clippers 3rd string squad yesterday.

Clips came back and won with Shamet, Terrence Mann, Rodney macgruber, jamicheal green and Patrick Patterson fml

only first round series in the East worth watching is gonna be Miami vs Indiana....and it's gonna be EPIC.

Earlier in the season Butler talked a ton of crap about TJ Warren, saying he was as crap player and how Butler could guard Warren, but Warren couldnt' guard Butler.

Now that TJ has apparently stumbled upon the crossroads and traded his soul for a much improved game we are in for a treat when those two match up next week.

Sneak preview of that today when the two teams meet, but Butler has been out past two games with an ankle so he might skip this one as well.

Good games later with Lakers-Nugs & Raps-Bucks.

no one playing in the Raps-Bucks game. Lowry, Van Vleet and Giannis all took the day off. I hit delete as soon as I saw the lineups.

Hopefully Butler is playing tonight so the Miami vs Indiana game is worth a look.

I know it sucks. I’m still watching but I just figured they’d all be playing bc they’re the top teams in the East. I haven’t looked yet, but is the Lakers nugs game supposed to be the same or is everyone playing?

I know Giannis isn’t playing but damn the Bucks are getting thrashed. Plus Lowry isn’t playing either.. I really like Bouchier for Toronto. Dude is underrated.

Wow, crazy ending to Lakers nugs. Huge 3 by Kuzma late. Bol Bol even had a chance to put it up on the inbound with 0.4 on the clock.

They were down by 3. Not the smartest move. Worried about LAL. Think Clips take it.

Idk what’s gonna happen come playoffs. The West looks like it’ll be Clipps-Lakers but who knows. Denver looks solid. Utah seems to have regressed a little, and Houston can be dangerous when they’re firing on all cylinders. However, they live and die by the 3..and their lack of height won’t help them come playoffs. OKC is intriguing.

This Portland Dallas game is great. They’re hitting everything. Dame is such a baller. Kristaps going off too. I think this is Melos best year since early NY days maybe even Denver.

Wearing mask on the bench....

Timeout is called...

Players high-fiving....Laughing

I don’t really get the spacing on the bench either, bc these players aren’t leaving the bubble and are getting tested all the time. Seems a bit superfluous.

Commentator during the Pels-Kings game called Zion out pretty hard lol. He said something like “Zion needs to have someone with him at all times to make sure he stays in shape and doesn’t overeat. He’s at least 30 pounds overweight right now, and that’s why there’s so much stress on his knees etc”

The 8 seed in the West is gonna be a war. I personally hope Portland gets it, but Phx, SA and Memphis all practically have the same record. It’ll be interesting to see who takes it. If Lakers get the top seed, and get Portland in the first series..that would be a tough series for the Lakers. The Clippers get Trezz back, which is huge for them. You know Kawhi, PG, Trezz, Lou Will are all gonna be locked in come playoffs. Lebron obviously will be too. AD needs to stay healthy, and their shooters need to step it up imo. Danny Green, Waiters, and Kuzma need to step up and knock down shots. I like the Clippers depth more than the Lakers. Denver is also a scary team from what I’ve seen in the first 7 games back. Love their roster, as it’s a mix of experience and youth with a shit ton of talent. Jokic, Murray, Porter Jr (who’s been playing great and we’re finally seeing his potential...he has an incredibly high ceiling) Milsap, Monte Morris, Bol Bol, Dozier etc. And they’re getting Gary Harris and Will Barton back before seeding. At full strength they’re gonna be a tough out.

This is a pretty exciting post season in terms of talent from various teams. First time in a long time that the nba post season doesn’t look predictable. Glad to see more super teams, and not such a top heavy Warriors squad. Glad that era is over tbh. There’s so many good players entering the league too, that from a talent standpoint...the league is loaded.

Put me in the boat that would love to see Portland and the Lakers in round one as well. Dame Time vs LBJ would be a lot of fun. Believe it or not, I give Portland a decent chance to win that series. Maybe 2 out of 10.

Also agree about the Clips. With them getting Trez back, it can only help. He's the energy and glue guy on that team. Their depth is insane, and if anything, is the only thing you can really get on them about. Who plays? How many minutes? Sweet Lou and Trez are going to take time away from guys that have been getting acclimated into the system and are hitting their strides. Its a good problem to have if you're going to have one, but still, sort of a problem.

I don't see anyone taking out the Clippers tbh. PG is playing in another universe right now and you have to think Kawhi will get back into shape as the playoffs continue.

Denver is an interesting team. SO much talent but SO young. And I'm also not sure they have a top 15 player in the league. No guy that can really take over. Maybe Murray? But he hasn't proven it yet.

I've also been rooting for Portland so we can get that series vs the Lakers.

Would love to see Portland vs Phx in the playin game(s).

First round series in the East are gonna be garbage. Mil/Orl, Tor/Brk, Bos/Phi are all garbage, not even worth tuning in to check the score. Indiana vs Miami could be good, but based on what we saw Monday I don't know if Indiana has enough to make it a good series.

Second round in the east will be great though if the seeds hold. Mil/Miami and Tor/Bos.

West is gonna be great pretty much the whole way through.
