Want to hear some Gee Whiz trivia?

The Original members of the Big 10, actual name of the conference back then was "The Western Conference" in 1886 were Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan and .............
The University of Chicago!

3 years later (1889) Indiana and Iowa joined
13 years later (1912) Ohio State joined and the conference was renamed "The Big 10"

The University of Chicago left the Big 10 in 1946 and the conference was renamed "The Big 9". Then MSU joined the conference in 1950 and the conference was once again named the Big 10. PSU joined 40 years later in 1990 to make it 11 and from there you know the rest.

What does this have to do with anything? Well these conferences change so much that these lists really don't mean a thing. The Big 10 has underwear that is older than the AAC!
