Louisville vs #9 Michigan State

Common sense---I agree 100%. Proper training, though? No. You have to attend camps, clinics, etc, etc...Pass an exam. The training is there. One of the issues with training is, those who have done it for 10 ,15 or 20 years. Aside from the mandatory clinincs, they seldom go. Get complacent.

Until the NCAA hires officials, trats them as employee's, you'll continue to see some of the inconsistency. BUT....to be fair, its not as inconsistent as some think. But it does have its moments.

And yes---it is hard. I doubt many on here could do it.
There are some refs that are a bit short on common sense.
They simply need more training, the NCAA has failed here (no surprise), they should make these guys NCAA employees and train them all the same.

We owe you thieves

You guys stole Langford.
Naahhh....You guys handed him over.

Agree. Each camp/clinic emphasizes NCAA rules, POE, etc, etc...They teach it relatively the same. BUT................You get into an association(assigning), and well, that can(and often does) goes out the window.

NCAA officials are allowed to much freedom.

I haven't watched a single game of Louisville's yet, and I didn't know anything about their roster. So, I was getting a little irritated that Dakich and the other announcer didn't take the time to be prepared and at least learn all the players names. I couldn't believe they kept on calling/referring to player #4 by just "four".

Then I realized when I saw the back of his jersey that I'm a dumbass lol. Its clever on his part to take that number and made me laugh a little. Or, it's not clever and it's a stupid idea, but the alcohol is making anything funny right now lol.

Honestly the NCAA isn't doing their job. Your team should be decimated to the point of not even being able to stay on the court with a top 10 team if you string together a streak of cheating like louisville has perpetrated.

So Winston is out of the game on what should have been a play on. Jeez, he touched the guy.
So much for playing hard.
It's still a great game to watch though.

Just so you guys know-----Louisville has never lost a November game, in the Yum..
