Has anyone tried dangling some werthers originals around?
I take @Bert Higginbotha’s silence as an acknowledgement that Kentucky is far inferior to the Northeast and West Coast, and that he did not major in Chemistry at college.
I did not take my ball and go home because someone hurt my little feelings (hell I survived ten years as an elected official, so my skin is quite thick).
I still read the threads and give out likes etc.; however, it got personal, and I decided to not add to the fray.
After a while you get tired of being called a racist along with other names. At 75 I still have enough discipline to decide not to participate in character assassination.
I appreciate most of the folks on this board and I still enjoy it, just without giving some the ammunition to insult, like one of the posts above.

I imagined this thread going a bit differently in my head.
There was a President thread in 2016-2017 where he went on a racist tirade against Mexicans. Even went as far as saying he was racist, and that he didn’t care, he just wanted Mexicans out of “his” state.
