Lettuce discuss teams with really weak schedules...

The SEC dominating talk is a bit annoying and definitely over the top, but the situation that the ACC is in right now is almost exactly how the SEC has been treated for ages (unjustly IMO)
SEC has had plenty of years where only 3 teams went to the dance. You basically can't lose in conference road games or you're out of the tourney. It was always rather annoying I must say.
The ACC will not get better until they hire better coaches

The ACC, Big 12 and the old Big East took turns in dominating and for the most part they did pretty well once the tournament started, now it's the SEC's turn.

Just because your conference is tough doesn't mean you will do well in the tournament. Last year the SEC shit the bed, the year before that it was the Big 12.

If the SEC does a repeat of last year I'll be back here laughing my ass off at the conference homers.

Same lol.

Teams winning in the ACC aren’t going to be rewarded the same as teams winning the SEC for obvious reasons. That said, we better have a good showing in March or nobody is going to take this conference serious in hoops for a while.

There have been some good conference meltdowns in the NCAAT recently. I know the B10 has had a dandy recently, just can't remember the year. SEC has had plenty. Big 12 has probably fared better than most. 2017 was pretty wild when UNC won it (F U, Luke Maye) but the ACC had 9 teams in the dance (2 more than any other conference) and none of the other 8 made it through the first weekend. It's gonna be really crazy now with the mega conferences and the potential to put 10-12-14 teams in the tourney in the future.

SEC hasn't won a title in 13 years, haven't been in the final game since 2015.

They have 2 good years in a row and all of a sudden they're a gauntlet.

All I know is if they wet the bed again, let's see how many of them get missing.

UNC got dogged by A&M and the conference wet the bed in the tourney.

You do know who won the title that year?

Last year 5 of the 8 SEC team's lost in the first round, they were the joke of the tournament.

The ACC has had a lot of great coaches leave in the last few years, the hires to replace them have been horrible for the most part. Louisville hired Chris Mack , good coach but a horrible fit for our program. Then the worst hire in the history of college basketball was Kenny Payne, if not for the portal, that would be almost as bad as getting the death penalty. Pat Kelsey is the perfect hire for our program, I’m confident that the rest of the conference bad hires will be replaced soon.
