All 3 losses on the road. none of the top 4 teams in the league were able to beat the others on the road. So basically auburn won the league because they didn’t have to play @kentucky.
You have the National player the year on your team, road games should be winnable with him…
Thats a little over simplified imo, arky didnt have to play @UK either. Tenn didnt have to play @ auburn.
Uk undoubtedly had the toughest conf slate of the four, esp when you throw in yall had to play away games against every tourney team in the conf while only hosting 3 return games.
Didn’t have Kofi for Maryland or Marquette.

Still has less losses to an 8 seed than Kofi. Maybe if Kofi could get more double doubles and avg more assts, blocks, and steals (like Oscar) his team wouldn't choke 2nd rd.
But he scores 3 more pts a game on more shot attempts and a worse shooting %, so ILL might beat a single digit seed this year.
I think the last bracketology had them as our 4 seed. Would be a really fun game to watch IMO. I'm just bustin' his balls, Kofi's really good. Him and Oscar battling would be must-see tv.
