Kansas, Duke and UVA all out of conference tourneys for COVID

Sounds good don't it. Your great athletes don't have enough skill and combine that with average coaching..it's not looking good for Texas.

We will see...

Shaka probably better the most understands the talent vs intensity thing in regards to college basketball.

But he isn't at a place where he has to get his players to outwork teams to win all the time.

Because he also understands there is a certain point that talent will win when intensity is equal.

What's Huggins' bonus for beating Texas? Must be way larger than the 25 grand he gets when he beats KU.

I have no idea..
But he has never had the talent so the way he supplements that is hy outworking teams like Texas.

We will see with them. They will always be a tough out.
But I also think they can be knocked out early in the tournament as well. Especially if they are a 4 seed.

They can get outworked.

That doesn't even make sense. Are you trying to say Texas has the talent to win it all? They wont get close. Hate to break it to you.

Of course they have the talent. Unfortunately for them, they also have Shaka "what's an offensive set?" Smart.

Good to know that the NCAA can override the CDC.

That is good, actually.

In seriousness, if one player tests positive and is isolated, while the others have 7 straight days of negative tests, you think that team shouldn't be allowed to participate?

Of course they should. He has no clue what he is talking about. It's no different than Trevor Lawrence testing positive and sitting out but the rest of team still playing.

I love it. Every one of your teams that goes down is one more step closer to DePaul getting an at large bid.

We're a hot 3 seed, bitch tits.

Btw, I was curious about Depaul's history so I looked it up. Three consecutive 2nd round losses as a 1 seed in the 80s? Sweet Jesus.

two of those weren't even in the 2nd round. They were back when it was 48 teams and high seeds had byes. So yea it was second round but it was actually the first round for DePaul. And they were #1 overall at least one of those times. Way worse than what Virginia did losing to a #16.

No but if gonzaga makes the title game I will purposely contract covid and invade their hotel room just to see them forfeit.
