Usually true, but it was in Coeur d'Alene which is a resort town just 30 minutes from Spokane. Not middle-of-nowhere like most of Idaho.

The soft punishment of the 3 players throwing punches is laughable. Should have been 3 game minimum. B1G suspended a player for stepping on another player during a game for 3 games and they are actually physically fighting with punches and get 1 game is a joke!!

And FTR, I've been involved in ONE CBB game(NAIA), where this happened. Whats crazy is, I've been in about 10 or more becnh clearing brawls in college baseball, with some serious haymakers thrown, and a few involved coaches-----Weird how that was seen as, "welp, thats baseball..."

Baseball---Yes. But incidental mostly. I had one coach grab me by the arm as I tried to walk away. At the college level, those dudes are really careful. I mean, its crazy, TBH. You throw a punch/slap at am official?----You are in deep shit.
Basketball----Kinda of....But not really. The games(baseball as well) can get emotional.
I've never had a player contact me at any level. Nor a fan.
