My kinfolk are spread out from Kentucky thru Tennessee into Alabama. Back in my younger days when I still lived in Tennessee, I used to annoy my Kentucky kin to no end by referring to Kentucky as Kaintucky. Means “Kentucky can’t/ain’t gonna beat Tennessee”. 35 years later, I still use it! Mostly used for football since the Tennessee/Alabama part of the family didn’t give a damn about basketball

How so, considering Barnes has a bunch of 2 & 3 stars and is kicking ass while Coach Cal has 5 stars and getting beat by 30+?
Isn't Kentucky also 1-1 vs ranked teams this year? The difference is UT wasn't beat by 30 to one of those, and didn't also lose to Seton Hall and Alabama.

Della has point, more so this year than last. Sure last year they were Co-Champions in the regular season and they spanked us twice. We were the tourney Champs and we spanked them.

I don't think Tennessee is overrated at all. They are a solid team with experience. Should probably end up winning the conference in the regular season.
That being said, I fully expect to split with them in the regular season and then beat them like a drum like we normally do when it counts.

But, it does speak to doing more with less or doing less with more. Barnes should be named coach of the year of the Vols keep things up.
