Iowa Has The Best Fans. Change My Mind.

you are the idiot, prove your top 50 by giving stats,

fact Wieskamp if he comes out after his SO season is a projected NBA pick
fact Wieskamp was just named to the PRESEASON all BT team. your stupidity grows with each post.

First of all, no. Here's what the article actually says: 2nd round to undrafted. That doesn't even mean CBS is confident that he'll be taken.

wieskamp.jpg

Second of all, I previously told you I was okay with Wieskamp being a top 50 player. So why are you still whining? Finally, what is the correlation between NBA prospects and impactful college players? Cassius Winston is unlikely to be drafted in the 1st Round. And he is the consensus preseason NPOY. Does it bother you that I didn't have Bryan Antoine, Jaden McDaniels, Josh Green, Precious Achiuwa, or Matthew Hurt in my top 50? Those guys are all projected 1st rounders. Stop and think for a moment. It's helpful.

try taking your own advice, also there were a number of those that had the 2nd rnd draft pick to undrafted. do me a favor and THINK before tagging me.

I was on Iowa campus all day yesterday and didnt see a single Hawkeyes basketball shirt. Edited read title is wrong.

that's because it is FB season and the FB team is rated #14.

Guess how many Big Ten players were drafted last year? Try 5. So if Wieskamp is the #10 rated Big Ten pro prospect and he comes out, there's a great chance he won't be drafted.

But again, what is the correlation between pro talent and impact on the college level? Do you think Cam Reddish and Jaxon Hayes, two top 10 picks, were top 50 players last year?

they said the same thing about Cook of Iowa and yet he just signed a contract with the NBA Denver Nuggets.
Wieskamp went thru their predraft camp last spring. pulling out the week before the time limit was up. being invited to try out for multiple teams as a TRUE FR.

you know what I heard and read about how Iowa player can't/won't stand a chance of playing in the NBA and yet these under Fran have
unranked 3* Marble 2nd rnd NBA Pick made the team then suffered a eye injury after being raked across the eyes which required surgery to save his eye and cost him the chance at finishing the season
now after a year wearing special goggles he just made the Golden State Warriors
unranked 3* White who was a FR AA ended up being drafted then stashed over seas just turned down a offer to play for the Nets
unranked 3* Jok still on a NBA Team this fall
3* BY Rivals 4* top 100 by ESPN still on a NBA roster this fall,
that makes 5 players under Fran that has made it to the NBA, with 4 still on NBA rosters, doesn't matter if they only play 1 minute a game or 25 minutes a game making a NBA roster is the goal of every BB player.

Cook and Moss both went thru the NBA predraft Cook after his SO year and Moss after his RSSO year.

Iowa also had 1 one n done player under Davis and Davis had 3 McDonald AA's play for him.

I think you misspelled obnoxious

Thanks. So, no interest in the college basketball draft? I think I tagged you.

Did you tag more than 10 people? I think it bugs out if you tag a bunch at once. I never got a notification.

I think you misspelled obnoxious
since he is not a paid talent evaluator nor has ever coached in any way shape or form his opinion doesn't mean shit as that's all it is a opinion by a know nothing msg board poster, W/O any qualifications.

The last 10 games he averaged 10/6/4. With elite defense. Based on what we are hearing he is the player who has improved the most as well.

I think Teske is quite good as well. I would say having him in the 90’s is underrating him a bit. If he can get a post game, he could be really good. It’s strange to see a 7 footer who can knock down 3’s but when matched up against 6’0 Cassius Winston in the post travels. If he can be more multi-dimensional offensively he could make a push for sure. Right now I’d have him around 50 or so.

He is 7’ 2” now and supposedly shooting the ball well

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I wear UK basketball and football gear year round. You realize they only play football on 13 days of the year, right?

Interesting. Wasn't aware of that. Here's the link to the thread. Looks like we have 7-8 participants now, not counting you.

Tagging @Danger 35 Zone and @sdsufan10 again because I would love to have our past two champions compete again. Sdsufan slaughtered everyone last year. 10 posters in the draft, and that guy nabbed 4 All-Americans on his team.

blah blah blah coming from a know nothing nobody like you means nothing to me

its better than that 10th place finish that some are predicting for Iowa. hmmm sound like last year rinse and repeat, 10th or worse by most, no matter how much the talent has improved. it is always 10th or worse. this is no longer the SA/Lick years,

the Talent level is getting back to the Davis years when they had a Elite 8, 2 Sweet 16 and a 9-0 in NCAST 1st round games plus they are approaching the Lute years when they won the BT Championship and made the FF.

the thought of that happening must rip the guts right out of some of you.

Dude no one cares if Iowa has a good team or not besides possibly ISU fans. I’d be happy for The Iowa program and their fans if y’all string together a few good seasons and make some nice runs in the tourney (as long as y’all don’t knock out Louisville in their path lol)

It certainly wouldn’t “rip my guts out” if any team that has been mediocre/irrelevant for as long as Iowa has started achieving success. No one nationally that cheers for a team not in the B1G hates Iowa bc y’all haven’t had the success to warrant any hate.

In fact the only reason anyone on this message board has any type of feeling about Iowa hoops (outside of B1G fans) besides indifference is bc of YOU and ur incoherent ramblings, persecution complex, and personal attacks on posters that don’t share ur opinion.

an no not every young basketball players dream is to be signed to a 10 day contract or play 5 mins a game for an nba team.

Sure it’s a great accomplishment, but there’s a lot of players that have much loftier goals, like becoming an all star, winning a championship, and of course getting long, multi-million dollar contracts. Hell u just mentioned a guy that decided to stay overseas for a guaranteed contract that sign a less lucrative deal to sit on the bench in the nba where he could be cut at any moment. So obv playing 1 min or playing in only 25 games isn’t his dream. Louisvilles Larry obannon turned down a low end non-guaranteed nba contract to stay overseas for guaranteed money. It’s not unheard of.

Playing in the nba, like u said is a helluva accomplishment, whether 1 minute or 10 years, but I’d say for most players their priority is looking to make as much money as possible to support their families.
