I met Joe Barry that season at an OOC game that my 7th grade basketball team went to. Changed my life as I was raised in an IU household. That was a good team, led by a very good man.

Those are the AP All-Americans. Both Hummel and Moore were NABC All-American selections.
I guess those kind of count but that award isn’t what’s normally repeated when talking about past All Americans. Drew Gooden and Nick Collison both won the NABC Player of the Year award but nobody ever claims they were the POTY in those seasons.
This is the debate Sloppy and I have been having. My argument has been that if you are selected by one of the four consensus selectors, it's a valid title. It's not like referencing the Yahoo! or SB Nation All-American teams. If you get picked by AP, NABC, USBWA, or Sporting News, it's legit. But reasonable people can disagree.
