I know it's almost college basketball season, but it's also NBA preseason and many of us enjoy watching former Duke big men make inexplicable amounts of money to sit on the bench for crappy teams, so here's some great NBA content from this week.
Dunc'd on Podcast: if you're not familiar, Nate Duncan (and usually Danny Leroux) have a podcast that covers the NBA is sometimes mind-numbing detail (like an hour plus about each of the 30 teams, with heavy emphasis on end of bench guys). They're basketball crack for basketball junkies, but this week's are bigger picture stuff (i.e. more digestible for the average fan). Love this podcast, even the nerdy jokes.

- Western Conference over/unders
- Eastern Conference over/unders
- A talk with Ben Taylor about his 8 greatest players of all-time. If you're not familiar with Ben Taylor, he does very detailed looks at ways to smartly look at players. I don't agree with everything he writes, but his method is rigorous and can lead to fun thought experiments (for example, the value of scaleability for NBA skills). )Taylor's own podcast is new and a bit rough, but he's a good guest.)
