I think it's bullshit that rebounds are allowed on PKs anyway. Should be a dead ball once the save is made.
I thought only the players that stand outside the box could get rebounds but i was wrong. I totally agree with you though, they jist be just like PKs after the game if he saves it its dead.

Lurker you might get your wish of PKs. Italy have been dominating this game so I expect them to lose.

On southgate. Gotta being rashford and sancho on earlier, or not at all.

And havingg a 19 yo as the last kicker lol

was rooting for italy tho bc England got every advantage possible in this tourney from matchups to match locations.

Great job azure. Fell behind early and stayed patient and got the trophy.

Hold your head up son.
Idk that was a piss poor attempt.

jk i know what u mean, shouldnt have been put on a 19 yo shoulders anyways. Hell mbappe lost it for france and hes one of the best in the world, but also super young. Shoulda been grealish or sterling imo.

granted i dont even know sako club team and that might be the first pk hes ever had blocked, still a big moment for a 19 yo and tbh he played pretty poorly today before the pks.

Cant beleieve italy last kicker took such a soft ass shot as well. Owes his goalie a keg or 2 thousand

He always does, but that little hop before usually trips the keepers up and they start moving and he hits it gently into whatever corner they didn’t choose. This time he chose poorly and it didn’t work out.

Here’s an analysis on his technique. You wouldn’t know it from today’s kick but he’s very successful with it.

He's normally very deadly with it. As someone who watches Chelsea he's pretty much their dedicated taker when out there. Definitely a bad job today, thankfully England choked with 3 straight awful penalties.

Seriously, 3 straight misses lol. Who does that?

Is England the worst PK team of all time? I don't think I've ever seen them win one. Germany in '96, Argentina in '98, Portugal in '04, Portugal in '06, Italy in '12, Italy in '21.

The 2 guys Southgate subbed on to take kicks missed. Feel bad for Pickford, 2 saves in the shootout including Jorginho and he losses.

That isn’t what some in England are blaming it on.
Some are claiming blacks don’t have the ability to handle PKs…

That country has some race issues.
Maybe even more than the US.

Sterling never gets the credit that Kane gets. Even though Sterling has been their best player

Italy came come from behind both in regulation and in PKs. Crazy.

I think England was way too concerned with protecting the 1 goal lead as opposed to trying to make it 2. I know hindsight is 20/20 but it just felt like Italy was going to break through at some point.

Pickford was awesome. Certainly can't blame him.

It's easier to say this in hindsight, but it seems strange to select guys for the PKs that have played what, 3 minutes in regulation?

Yeah, what are the odds of that? Can't think of an instance off the top of my head where a team came from behind in regulation and during PKs, and came through victoriously.

And agreed on England's passivity. That may have been their downfall. Protecting a 1 goal lead against arguably the best-scoring team in the world probably isn't the best idea. Italy was the more aggressive team for most of the game, and they deserved to win.

Yea i noticed how almost every single player that got cute with their run up to the ball either missed or got blocked. And if dude does it everytime, the goalie knows it too, not sure how its so successful, even the announcers were like if he goes left itll be low if he goes right itll be in the air a bit.

Rashford, sako, and georginha(sp) all tried to get cute with their run ups, none acored. Just step up and put ur laces thru it, i think its prettty garbage they can slow down and speed up their runs anyways so it was pretty sweet wayching all the dolts that did miss or get stuffed. Well being it was england mainly getting stuffed helped too.

Im not really and england fan or hater but they got too many advantages this tourney to deserve the trophy imo. Only like 2 road games all euros. Easiest side of a bracket possible dang near. They beat croatia, denmark, and germany, thats what they actually accomplished. Lucky af to beat denmark, on a questionable pk. They wouldnt have won a game on the other side of the bracket imo as i dont think they could take belgium or spain and obv Italy.

I think Europe has a lot of race issues we generally don’t hear about. The idea that they are much further ahead on progress than us is something that is thought by many in the US but doesn’t really reflect reality.

Pretty disgusting of the Brits here.

Yea i hate the harry kane love. He flops more than neymar he just dont roll around on the ground like neymar. Plus 1/3 of his goals are PKs that someone else drew the foul. I thibk whoever draws the foul should have to take the pk. Life FTs.

They should start using VAR to card people for flopping, like mcguire grabbing his face when dude kicked at the ball and was a good 10 inches away from his head. Lebron woulda been so proud of that one.

I dont think stering deserved the foul against denmark, i think he wasnt gonna be able to do anything with it so he fell to the ground. But i do believe hes their best player. Hes the one that makes ish happen.

To me its on southgate for havinf a 19 yo be ur last kicker, regardless of his race. I would have went with grealish or sterling. Anyone but the teenager who played poorly all game anyways imo.

And hes gotta being rashford and sancho in the first ET or not at all, let em break a damn sweat at least.

Europe is racist as fvck. There’s a reason they still have to put up billboards next to the pitch that says there is no room for racism in football.

Marseille, France is one of the best places to start when you want to see racism in Europe.

I don’t know if it is that big of a secret in the United States.

From what I am hearing from Twitter you see similar problems.
People talking about how people in London are using this to shine a light on racism but throwing all the rural people in England under the bus
I guess in England it is the smaller clubs who support the National Team. Heard the city Blackpool mentioned a few times on Twitter. Guess it is a city known for having racist.

Yea they have issues. One of the big Russian club’s fans demand all white, straight players. Not sure if they still do, but it’s like damn that’s a little dramatic.
