Duke will beat UK in Champions Classic

I'm surprised Cam Reddish isn't getting more love. He very well could be the difference maker in this game.

This game will put one team up on the other with one game left in current series. (MSG next year UK vs. Michigan St, KU vs Duke).

Right now four teams have won the best 2 out of 3, after 3 games/seasons in CC against each other.

Duke 3-0 vs. Mich st.
UK 2-1 vs. KU
KU 2-? vs. Duke.
Mich St. 2-0 vs KU

Still up for grabs, UK vs Duke and Michigan
St. They picked the right four teams to participate.

Overall records is still too close to call.

With all this said, it's still a November game. Some don't care about little stats. Some do.

He is very, very good. Didn't play in Canada, so people aren't as familiar with him. Also maybe not as noticeable as Zion or RJ (although higher ranked than Zion in high school.)

you should also root for the team with a U and a K

Sounds good to me. I was going to anyway. UK and UNC have always been second favorites to me. After all the UK arena is named for a Jayhawk and Roy is also a favorite of mine.. However, I do think top to bottom KU has the deepest team in the country. But because at this time we do not have a defined leader on the floor or the final rotation we will start slow. (Slow for KU that is)

KU has done better with UK in the conference challenges. But I like these early big matchups. They are great for fans of the game and the kids really get up for them and really care. In reality none of the teams have too many in conference rivals. The other schools may differ, but the cream is usually these 4 schools, plus UNC and one or two others.

Both teams are littered with freshman. Both teams will rely hevaily on freshman. UK does have some returning kids, who can ball; Wahington, Green and Richards(?). So picking who will win this game is sort of like throwing darts, in the dark. I'd give the edge(slight) to UK b/c they have some solid kids returning. BUT---Duke does have 3 of the Top 5 freshman. SO there is that. Just a toss up, IMO.

crazy to think that if KU beats MSU, duke beats uk, and then next year KU beats Duke and UK beats MSU....they will all finish with the same 5-4 record.

Rocky is riding KU and Duke's nuts like Secretariat.

I guess I'll give her a pass. With all of the drama at UofLOL, she needs a good program to tie her double wide to.

Zion May outplay PJ but overwhelm? I don’t think a 6’5 power forward is gonna overwhelm our best player.

Geezus, OP, you've hooked enough to feast forever.

So.... my math isn't always 100, but...
MSU (who was sitting a 3-4) is going to lose their next two games and be 5-4.

And ppl liked that post?

We have a great schedule, we aren’t doing a month of “feel good” games. Calipari must’ve known what was going to happen against Duke, now he won’t play anyone. Fluff fluff
Yeah, Duke, UNC, KU, UL OOC is fluff.

Good call.:D
