Great game. FSU would have beat 8 out of 10 teams teams today. Duke just made enough plays to win. I think this is Duke's most impressive victory so far this season.
Tough way to lose but how does a shooter get that wide open after all those TO’s?

It was a great play call. Almost like a trick play in football. When Jones whispered in Bolden's ear, it made them focus on Bolden and Barrett. When really it was designed for Barrett to take attention away from Reddish.

I’m irrationality angry right now, but I will say that duke’s big 3 is awesome. Williamson’s athleticism competes with only Lebron’s and Barret and Reddish looked like nba players out there.

Huh? The play was designed to get him(Reddish) the shot. It worked perfectly. Even more so because no one on this planet thought the play was for Reddish. That includes FSU. He wasn't guarded b/c the action took everything away from him(Reddish). he simply ws patient...let the play develop---And knocked her down.

someone on sb nation or bleacher report will break down that final play, tenth of a second by tenth of a second, for all the minions to see. however, if you think that was just some complete defensive breakdown, then you aren't paying attention.

Exactly... That play got exactly what it was supposed to get. Not b/c someone went under or over a screen. Or fell asleep. Sometimes the play is just to good to defend.
I mean, even I said you have to guard Barrett or Reddish. So if Hamilton wasn't thinking Reddish was a legit option that is terrible coaching. It doesn't mean it wasn't a good play but it doesn't take away from how terrible a job defensively it was.

Reddish has been playing so bad he looked like he was shaving points, I'm not sure the criticism was unfair but I'm glad he broke out of his slump today.
The guy guarding Reddish actually pinches down on the white dude under the basket even though he was already covered and never going to get the ball. Good play. Bad defense. Both can coexist.

I mean, the people who made it personal and irrationally attacked Reddish are BS. But logical and constructive criticism was certainly justified. He has played horrible lately. Most people expected him to break out of it eventually. He picked the perfect day to step up. The day his team needed him most.
You are somewhat reasonable. But the reason for the poor defensive play was because they fell for the trick. The play call created the bad defense.
he was an assassin today. kid pretty much showed the total package today to quite any naysayers saying he is overrated. still...he's the quite assassin type. at next level he needs to develop some of that aggressive nature to his game. unbelievable prospect though with his size and skillset.
