Competitiveness getting disguised as bullying.Ya, telling a kid he sucks at a video game isn’t bullying.
Statistically speaking there has never been a safer time to be aliveThat audio is bone chilling. Sad. My goodness the World is a mess.
Ummm, ok. I do not recall as a kid my parents worrying that I could be shot and killed at school. Or worrying about being shot at the Mall. Or at a convention. Or at a sporting event. Especially so at church.Statistically speaking there has never been a safer time to be alive
Due to overpopulation?Statistically speaking there has never been a safer time to be alive
I fully encourage you to do some research into it. It's really eye opening how much we feed on fear in the news and in general. Homicide is down. Violent crimes are down.Ummm, ok. But hey, statistics....

Uhhhhhh... Yeah, alright. I can accept that. It should not, however, be used as a justification for not addressing imperfections and continuing to improve. It's good to include for the sake of perspective, though, definitely. Are we perfect? No, but MAN are things so much better now than ever before, and I don't know how anyone could think otherwise.
Well, umm, duh. If course things are better. It's called advancements. Technology, medical, etc, etc...And we may be safer, but only by default. And by laws. But not by nature. Which was my point. It's not even close how much safer the US is today than at any other point in history.
Not even close. And, when crimes ARE committed, we're infinitely more likely to catch the criminal and bring them to justice than ever before (technological advances in DNA and evidence gathering, security cameras, fingerprint databases, etc.).
Not. Even. Close.
But, you just HEAR and READ about things more when they happen now than you did 30-40 years ago. And people get so afraid and worked up.
When the world is actually a FAR, FAR better place now than it was 30, 40, 50 years ago (across all fronts: Civil Rights, Gender Equality, Violence & Death, Medical Advances, etc, etc, etc). Are we perfect? No, but MAN are things so much better now than ever before, and I don't know how anyone could think otherwise.
You know the world is ending when an iu fan and a Purdue agree on the same thing. Totally with you on this one!Good Lord man. When is this shit ever gonna end? I don’t get why people turn to killing others before offing themselves. Just don’t get it.

People. Society. It has changed. And By far, for the worse. What does “safer by nature” mean?

We still have that. Now it's just illegal.I dunno, man. There was a time when society involved slavery and gladiator fights and public beheadings and women being treated like property and so on and so forth. All things considered, I think we've got it pretty good.
We still have that. Now it's just illegal.
Serious. I'll get into this more after work.
To much time has elapsed. Forgot what ideas going to say..
