He lives in the right city then.Something tells me Beard and his wife could not pass a drug test
ya hate to see it!Couldn’t happen to a better guy……slimeball druggie….
yep. If this happened up north he'd be fired. But in Texas I'm guessing he gets suspended for some non consequential nonconference cupcake games. They do things differently in Texas.
ESPN article I just read says, "Austin police told ESPN they received a "disturbance hotshot" call, and officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vista Lane shortly after midnight Monday. The Austin Police Department's website defines a "hotshot" call as "incidents which are in progress are an immediate threat to life and/or public safety. ... These calls are dispatched immediately."
So they arrived "shortly after midnight" but the other article linked above said he was arrested at 4:18 AM. Even if that's the time he was officially booked at the jail it shouldn't take 4 hours. What was going on during that time? Inquiring minds want to know.
Depends on the DA. Even then the person assaulted becomes a hostile witness. If it was child, he's done. The wife could drop charges and negotiate a ton of money. Maybe a suspension until he fulfills anger management etc. The good ole boy network is strong in Texas.Interesting. Even if the victim requests that the charge be dropped it isn't usually granted in domestic assault cases. The state will probably prosecute either way.

I'm actually shocked by this. He usually waits until March to choke.
He probably had a fifth of scotch and an 8 ball for dinner.yea, shortly after midnight seems like an odd time to be mad at your wife for dinner being cold.
I'd take him with his Orange jail uni on over payne. He might be finished. For good.
Depends on what comes out but it looks bad.
Oh man, what a disaster for Texas after such a promising start to a season. Incase they have to fire Chris Beard, will they be snatching Texas Tech's coach again this time?
I'm even more desperate. I'd take him as a player and give him a starting spot.I'd take him with his Orange jail uni on over payne.
Its that bad and desperate here.
I like that menu, but I'd add some weed just so there's some color and a nice garnish on the plate. He probably had a fifth of scotch and an 8 ball for dinner.
Just when ol' Sheriff thought things were finally going his way...
Garnish 😂I like that menu, but I'd add some weed just so there's some color and a nice garnish on the plate.

You will be rid of Payne shortly after the end of this season.
So they can hire who? Richard Pitino? 🤣You will be rid of Payne shortly after the end of this season.
