Several? Since 1999 its been KU, Oklahoma, Texas and West Virginia. Big 10 has Michigan, MSU, IU, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio State.....All have played for the title. MSU winning it 2000. And lets not act as if the B12 has been scarfing up titles. Kansas has the only title----2008. MOF,since 2010, KU and OU are the only B12 team to reach the FF With OU getting fvcking dismantled.. In that same span, the Big 10 has sent MSU,Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin.

The big 10’s last title was what 1998? Pac 12 has even won one more recent I believe with Arizona or UCLA.

Kansas is an elite program. Outside of Kansas, the rest of the Big 12 has been dog shit. From 2005 to present (14 seasons) the only Big 12 team outside of Kansas to reach the Final Four was 2016 Oklahoma and that team lost by 44 once they made it.

No we owned the tourney just last year, and we still have half our conference in it so could still go deep and outperform the Big Slow conference. Big 12 is Conf RPI #1 every year. My team went to the elite 8 just last year, so although our exit sucks, we Won the Big 12 this year.
The B1G is a good b-ball conf this year. But until you win a national title soon, no one is going to respect it as much as you think you deserve. And even the SEC, a football conference, has 3 natties since your last one.

Well....considering basically my whole family went to Big 12 schools (Kstate, Baylor, KU, ISU, OU and Texas) and my business SOLELY are in the 3 major big 12 states from Ks to Texas (oil and gas consulting), I have ties to several teams. So I’m prob more rah rah big 12 than the average joe, yes.
RPI had Kansas at #1 late into the year, which shows why it was thrown into the dumpster
Well considering KU was the best team in all the land under Doke got hurt, Vick quit and Silvio ruled ineligible, they hands down had the best resume and team of all teams in the sport. They cleaned house in the non con, beating the Big 10’s best in the process. That RPI was so far ahead of everyone else, they held high even as the wheels came off in Big 12 play.
Once things went downhill for them, they still finished 3rd/4th in the league and maintained an RPI 3.
Thus, the RPI is legit and not garbage.

At what point was Kansas better than Duke? Also, the RPI is so inept that it had Kansas at #1 during the initial bracket reveal by the committee. That was deep into the season, well after Kansas starting losing. The RPI is crap, and everyone acknowledges this.
KU full strength > Duke. That’s not even a convo. KU beat Duke with a lesser team last year.

I know KU was preseason #1, but I don’t think they were the best before Doke got hurt and Vick quit. They were much better, sure, but the best? I’m not so sure, though I’d be interested in hearing why they should have been considered the best.
As for Silvio, I don’t think I’d include him. He never saw a minute this year.
Yes my point was a lesser KU team beat a very good Duke team. And now, a much better and deeper KU team would beat a better Duke team as well
