Does the SEC win a second year in a row or does the Big 12 rise to the challenge?
What are the more interesting contest?

Follow up question, why is Auburn not playing? Are they in timeout?

We gonna get blasted

It is what it is, no excuses.

no excuses and also no reason to pay attention either. It's not a true conference vs conference challenge, just a bunch of mostly crappy games. Pretty much only 2 games stand out as possibly being good (ISU vs Ole Miss and K vs K)

What about UT WVU? They just beat Kansas.

Yeah, I do think it's horse shit that the SEC is going into this challenge without 2 of its top 4 teams.
2,6,7,10, those are the SEC rankings not playing. Auburn wouldn’t beat a top level Big12 team without their big man.

Lol, stop it.

B12 got the entire top half of their conference in.

SEC is missing Auburn, LSU, and State. Trotting out their conference standings 2 weeks into conference play to downplay State and Auburn is an awful take.

South Carolina is tied for third place in the SEC, Auburn and Miss St are behind them. Your opinion might be that they are better, but to this day, the facts are they aren’t...and South Carolina isn’t a good team.

Those are ranked teams, bro. That's not just my opinion.

They've played different schedules. Miss state has played a much more difficult SEC schedule to this point than South Carolina has.
Look what happened when South Carolina played a good team (LSU), they got beat badly. Plus, look at their overall record, they have 8 losses (they're 9-8). USC is not a good team.
Auburn may not have their big guy, but they are not a team that beats you with bigs, they shoot threes and they're very good at it. They're actually a better team this year than they were last year, but for whatever reason, they are not in the challenge for the 2nd year in a row
As far as LSU, they are actually tied for 1st in the league and undefeated. They are en Fuego right now. I don't think there is a BIG12 team that would want a piece of LSU right now, they are really playing well. Glad UK gets them in Rupp only.

I’m not saying that South Carolina is better than those teams, I’m just saying that as of now they are ahead of them in the conference. South Carolina and Auburn play tomorrow, I’d expect Auburn to win even without their big man.

Ole Miss best OOC win was Baylor, no other significant wins.

Miss St’s best OOC wins are Clemson and Cincinnati, good but far from great wins.

Auburn is fun to watch, but the only big win they have is against Washington, and they’ve lost the rest.

Auburn played Duke pretty close. Also, they have two other big guys besides Mclemore, so it's not like they are void of bigs on the inside and they don't run much of their offense through the inside anyway.
As far as Ole Miss' and MSU's scheduling, yeah, they really didn't play anyone in pre conference. I didn't know much about either team until recently, same with LSU, they came out of nowhere. All 3 teams are very good. I think LSU is the best of the three (they just won @ole Miss) and Ole Miss already beat MSU.
By the looks of the schedule, the BIG12 should win it, I just wish teams like Auburn and LSU were playing instead of Georgia and aTm, those two programs are dumpster fires right now. So is Vanderbilt.

I like the LSU team, I think they’re solid.

This challenge is like KU playing Mussouri. If KU loses its totally embarrassing, if KU wins no one cares kinda like no one in the big12 cares about beating a bad sec.... 8-2 BIG 12

I would think the Big 12 would be favored in 7 of 10.
Big 12 usually chokes, but I think they have favorable matchups this year.

It would be better if they picked the 5 home teams and 5 away teams from each conference at the beginning of the season, then wait until December to pick the actual matchups.

It might make sense from a competitive standpoint but that would be a nightmare from the logistics standpoint (travel/food/lodging/etc.).

This would probably be the most even

Kansas - Kentucky
Texas Tech - Auburn
Iowa State - Mississippi State
Oklahoma - Ole Miss
TCU - Alabama
Kansas State - Arkansas
Texas - Missouri
Baylor - South Carolina
West Virginia - Georgia
Oklahoma State - Texas A&M

Would it? For the team hotel & Food, the conferences could hold the reservations just like the NFL does for the Playoffs. Travel to-and-fro is a bit more complicated, but wouldn’t be if all the teams travel by charter.

The logistics would be problematic for the fans, but it’s not like we are talking about a lot of visiting fans traveling to these games.

Maybe. I really have no idea how the AD makes reservations.
