Big 10 is gonna suck again.

THE BIG will still have 8 or 9 teams on the preseason top 25. They don't stay in the top 25 but they are always represented well pre season

SEC vs B1G

We could call it the "Hey, we're better than midmajors" Challenge.

If it’s little, the SEC must be microscopic. 7,000 teams and one final four in 8 years and counting. 😆
Little 12 and SEC had a very competitive basketball challenge, even though we couldn't play some of out best teams against them. Try again home skillet

LOL. Rarely was one of the top SEC teams sitting out, but they left their bottom-feeders at home every year. 3 of 10 is not competitive, and it gets worse when you factor in all games played between the leagues.

Head to head, tourney, computer metrics….the Big 12 has been far better in recent years, even as the SEC has become much more competitive than before.

we have 14 teams Blind Baby!
I think there was a 1 year difference in wins in the challenge

All the B10ers on this board are gonna toss your salad for saying that.
No, he's mostly right. MSU and Purdue should be the class of the conference. IU has a lot of good guys coming in, but as Illinois has demonstrated, that doesn't mean anything unless they mesh. I do think that Woodson is a better coach than Underwood though.

Purdue will once again at some point be ranked #1 in the country and then rip my heart out in the tournament. It's written in the stars.

IU is a huge mystery.

1. Are Mgbako and Ware as good as advertised?

2. What type of leap will Reneau, Gunn and Banks make?

3. Can Cupps/Newton contribute?

4. Shooting? X shot it well...so did Galloway. But in somewhat small samples. Can Gunn find his touch? Cupps was a relly good shooter in HS.

Lots and lots and lots of questions.

On paper? Look really good.

X
Galloway
Mgbako
Reneau
Ware

But as you say---does this team mesh? Do guys live up to expectaions? If Ware/MM live up to their rankings---IU could be pretty good. and IF the shooting is there, well then this becomes a relly good team.
