Kentucky won it's 49th SEC regular season today, February 29, 2020.

No Auburn, no Florida, no Tennessee and no Louisiana State. JUST KENTUCKY!

edit: Dumb ass Bert wrote "49th SEC Tourney today". WRONG! It was the 49th SEC regular season. The post was corrected.

    1. Texas Tech (18-11) @ Baylor (25-3) - Both teams try to rebound after recent struggles
    2. NC State (18-11) @ Duke (23-6) - ESPN 4 PM PST - Duke on a skid and NC State just trying to stay alive.
    3. Bethune-Cookman (15-13) @ NC-Central (15-13)
    4. NC AT&T (15-14) @ South Carolina State (11-16)

Last two are Not televised - Notable since this will set up the two North Carolina teams facing each other for the MEAC title later this week.

That's it. Four games. At least we get two good games on TV.

Posting this now so i don't forget. Don't miss Baylor vs. Texas Tech tonight.

    1. Michigan State (20-9) vs Penn State (21-8) - ESPN 4 PM PST - Michigan State is now just a game behind Maryland for first in the Big Ten while Penn State tries to stop their skid having lost 3 of 4.

    2. Mississippi State (19-10) vs South Carolina (17-12) - SECN 330 PM PST - Two SEC teams currently on the wrong side of the bubble badly need a win

    3. Texas (18-11) @ Oklahoma (18-11) - ESPN2 6 PM PST - Texas following four straight losses with four straight wins (including back to back ranked wins last week) find themselves back on the bubble while the Sooners just try to improve their seeding and crush their rival's dreams.

    4. Maryland (23-6) @ Rutgers (18-11) - BTN 4 PM PST - Maryland just one game ahead of the pack in the Big Ten faces off against the Scarlet Knights who have lost 6 of their last 8 and are quickly falling out of the tournament

    5. Purdue (15-14) @ Iowa (20-9) - BTN 6 PM PST - Although Purdue righted the ship against Indiana last weekend after a four game skid, they still find themselves on the wrong side of the bubble and now go against a current 5 seed Iowa team who is just 5-4 in their last 9 games.

    6. Tennessee (16-13) @ Kentucky (24-5) - ESPN 6 PM PST - I'm adding this game because I think Kentucky has a legit shot at being a 2 seed if they win out but the Volunteers, coming off a win over tournament team Florida, stand in their way.

I cheated and added a sixth game.

Texas State @ South Alabama for the 2 seed in the Sun Belt, A game featuring the two best teams in the Southland Stephen F Austin @ Albeilene Christian, Davidson @ Richmond, Duquesne @ VCU, Bowling Green @ Kent State, and Little Rock @ Georgia State round off a great day of college basketball.

Villanova (22-7) @ Seton Hall (21-7) FS1 530 PM PST - Villanova fights for a share of the Big East title as Seton Hall wants to clinch it outright

Dayton (27-2) @ Rhode Island (20-8) CBSSN 6 PM PST - Dayton wants to hold onto the one seed while Rhode Island just wants to go dancing. This is a must win for Rhode Island after taking a bad loss earlier this week.

Florida State (24-5) @ Notre Dame (18-11) ESPN2 6 PM PST - Florida State will try to hold onto the two seed on the road against the Irish who are just looking for consideration.

Xavier (19-10) @ Providence (17-12) FS1 330PM PST - Two teams currently in the tournament face off to make sure they stay there

LSU (20-9) @ Arkansas (18-11) SECN 4 PM PST - Arkanas currently on the wrong side of the bubble badly needs a win as LSU wants to improve their seeding

TCU (16-13) @ Kansas (26-3) ESPN+ 5 PM PST - TCU coming off a win over Baylor last week tries to take down a Kansas team eyeing the 1 overall seed in the tournament.

I'm starting to realize rankings after #1 feel kind of arbitrary so i decided to leave them out. I included 6 games again.

    3/5/2020 - Back to a top 5 format.

    1. Illinois (20-9) @ Ohio State (20-9) - ESPN 4 PM PST - Illinois wants to keep the double bye but has to go into Columbus to face a hot Ohio State team looking to improve their seeding in both the big Ten and national tournament

    2. Wichita State (22-7) @ Memphis (20-9) - ESPN 6 PM PST - Bubble game where both teams are in a must win position. This game is also big for the American tournament seeding and a fight for the last bye in the conference tournament

    3. North Carolina AT&T (16-14) @ North Carolina Central (16-13) - ESPNU 4 PM PST - For all the marbles, winner of this game gets the #1 seed in the MAEC tournament and wins the regular season title outright.

    4. Boise State (19-11) @ UNLV (17-14) - CBSSN 2 PM PST - Mountain West Quarterfinal - Both teams need to win this tournament for a chance at the big dance.

    5. Houston (22-7) @ Uconn (17-12) - CBSSN 4 PM PST - Houston currently in tie for 1st in the AAC has a tough road game against a hot Huskies squad which is 6-2 in their last 8 games

Two games worth mentioning which are not televised:

California Baptist (21-8) @ New Mexico State (24-6) - Not Televised 6 PM PST - New Mexico State goes for an undefeated season in conference play against the #2 seed in a likely WAC tournament title game preview.

Northern Colorado (20-0) @ Montana (18-11) - Not Televised 6 PM PST - Battle for the two seed in the Big Sky. Must win for Montana if they want a share of the Big Sky regular season title as Eastern Washington (who they are currently tied with at the top of the Big Sky) closes the season with two of the worst teams in the conference, Weber State and Idaho State.

A lot of conference tournament action is taking place today as well. March starts to rev up, best time of the year :)

I'll update OP and title later tonight.

    1. Seton Hall (21-8) @ Creighton (23-7) - 1130 AM PST - FOX - This game decides who wins the Big East regular season title and has serious seeding implications in both the Big East tournament and national tournament

    2. Louisville (24-6) @ Virginia (22-7) - 1 PM PST - ESPN - Louisville can clinch atleast a share of the regular season title while Virginia can get a share with a win in this game and a FSU loss against Boston College

    3. Baylor (26-3) @ West Virginia (20-10) - 10 AM PST - ESPN+ - Baylor looking to hang onto a one seed in the tournament and a chance at a share of the Big XII title faces a stumbling West Virginia team that has lost 6 of 8 and is trending towards an 8 seed in the NCAA tourney

    4. Kansas @ Texas Tech - 11 AM PST - ESPN - Jayhawks on a 15 game win streak have a chance to win the Big XII outright while Texas Tech tries to stop their own 3 game losing streak.

    5. Wisconsin (20-10) @ Indiana (19-11) - 9 AM PST - ESPN - Wisconsin clinches a share of the big ten regular season title for the first time since the 14-15' season with a win while Indiana looks to secure their spot in the national tourney and improve their seeding.

    6. Stanford (20-10) @ Oregon (23-7) - 8 PM PST - FS1 - Oregon can clinch a share of the Pac 12 regular season title with a win and a possible 3 seed in the tournament if they win the Pac 12 tourney. Stanford on the other hand just wants to secure their spot in the big dance.

    7. Kentucky (24-6) @ Florida (19-11) - 10 AM PST - CBS - Kentucky who has already won the SEC outright comes off a disappointing collapse to Tennessee at home while Florida wants to hang onto the double bye in the SEC tournament (currently the four seed).

    8. Butler (21-9) @ Xavier (19-11) - 530 PM PST - FS1 - Two teams safely in the big dance (Butler moreso than Xavier) face off in a game with big seeding implications

    9. UCLA (19-11) @ USC (21-9) - 1215 PM PST - CBS - UCLA has a chance to clinch a share of the Pac 12 regular season title for the first time since 2012-2013 also look to beat their rivals to ensure they go dancing.

    10. Rutgers (19-11) @ Purdue (16-14) - 11 AM PST - BTN - Two bubble teams badly need a win to secure their spot in the tournament. Think of this as a deathmatch but Rutgers may have a second life.

    Yale @ Harvard
    Marquette @ St. John's
    Virginia Tech @ Notre Dame
